When Eleanor (Geena Davis) and Fredrick Little (Hugh Laurie) were asked by their son George (Jonathan Lipnicki) to adopt a little brother as opposed to a big one, they took his request too literally. One fine day they adopted Stuart (voiced by Michael J. Fox), a charming little mouse that can talk, walk upright and wear clothes. And from then on he embarked on unpredictable, comic and sometimes risky adventures. The family cat, Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane), who took an instant dislike to Stuart, gave him a cool welcome: he made an attempt to eat him, and then he set all the cats in the neighborhood on the mouse. After all, Stuart was kidnapped by small-time bandits. In order to return home, the new member of the Little family had to show his remarkable pluck and wits.

Stuart's mother is being over-protective of him, especially when he narrowly escapes injury in a soccer game. His big brother George has also made a new friend, Will, so Stuart is feeing lonely. Stuart rescues a canary, Margalo, from a falcon; she moves in with the Littles. The United States is trying to help the New Russia in the war against organized crime in that country. Presently, they are after Terek Murad, a deadly crime boss. When they raid one of his establishments, Murad's brother is killed. Murad seeks revenge against the ones who killed his brother, FBI agent Carter Preston and Russian Major Valentina Koslova, but most of all, he wants to send a message to the Americans about interfering in matters that don't concern them, so he hires an international assassin to kill the head of the FBI. When the assassin advises Murad to go into hiding until the job is done, he does. Desperate to know what Murad is doing, Preston allows the Russians to abduct Murad's errand boy and torture him to find out, and he utters the word "Jackal" which Preston recognizes as the name of an international assassin. They have to find him but unfortunatly, there is noone who knows who he is except for one person, whom they have to find and the only person who knows where that person is, is Declan Mulqueen, an IRA man, who is in prison, they offer to reduce his sentence is he helps them but refuses because all he wants is to be freed, so they decide to leave but he tells them that he knows who the Jackal is. So they release him and together they try to find the Jackal before he makes his move which won't be easy because he is very wily. |

In 1638 Queen Anne of France gives Birth to a boy, who will inherit the throne one day. But, only known to few, there is a twin brother born minutes later. 22 years later, King Louis XIV rules the country of France, but due to his lifestyle and the costs of war, people are forced to suffer hunger and poverty. Of the Musketeers, who had served his father Louis XIII faithfully, only one is still on the king's side: D'Artagnan, the Capitain of the king's guards. His three companions Aramis, Athos and Porthos have retired into civil life long ago. One day on a royal party, the young and unliked king gets a crush on Christine. This young lady is the fiancé of soldier Raoul, the son of Athos. Without further ado, the king has Raoul recruited and sent to war, so that he himself can take care of her. Soon Raoul dies in combat and the king has him out of the way. But Athos, Aramis and Porthos think of a plan to take revenge on the king. Aramis points out that there is a man in an iron mask in a very secure prison, and that this man's existance can solve all present problems. So they free the king's hidden twin brother, and tell him who he is, as he of course feels free of guilt and has no idea whatsoever why he was imprisoned for 6 years with this mask forged around his head. The plan now is to replace the evil king with his brother at a masquerade party held soon. Only D'Artagnan still is guarding the king and so he has to turn against his old friends... |

The life of plants and animals of the rainforest is under the deadly threat: bulldozers and other human machines are destroying trees and all tropical inhabitants. The other threat is that the evil spirit named Hexxus (voiced by Tim Curry) will be released if an old tree where he was confined long ago, will be injured by the bulldozers. Forest animals and mystic creatures should stop the felling: Krysta (voiced by Samantha Mathis), Pips (voiced by Christian Slater), Beetle Boys and Zak (Jonathan Ward) should prevent the forest from extinction. Zak is a human, who initially worked at the felling, but later he sworn to defend the beauty of the forest. |

It's 5 years after the battle against Gozer. A restraining order has forbidden Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, and Egon Spengler from working as Ghostbusters, and as a result, they've had to find other jobs. Ray owns a book store called "Ray's Occult" and performs at children's birthday parties with Winston, Egon conducts experiments at the institute for advanced theoretical research, Dana Barrett broke up with Peter some time ago before marrying another guy, and Peter now hosts a local TV show called "The World of the Psychic". Dana, who is now the divorced mother of an 8-month-old baby named Oscar, works in the restoration department at the Manhattan Museum of Art. Strange things start happening when Oscar's baby carriage takes off by itself with Oscar in it, and it stops in the middle of 1st Avenue. While Dana's boss, Janosz Poha, is restoring a painting of a 16th-century tyrant named Vigo Von Homburg Deutschendorf, the painting comes to life. Vigo wants to live again by taking over Oscar's body. Vigo takes complete control of Janosz and orders Janosz to get Dana to cooperate. Janosz also has his own agenda. He wants Dana because he's in love with her. When Peter, Ray, and Egon try to help Dana, they are arrested and put on trial for violating the restraining order. When the ghosts of the killer Scoleri Brothers show up at the court room, the judge is forced to remove the restraining order against the guys so they can put the Scoleri Brothers in a ghost trap. After this, Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston re-open Ghostbusters, and mayor's assistant Jack Hardemeyer tries to slow them down any way he can, because he believes the Ghostbusters are frauds who will hurt the mayor's chances of becoming the governor of New York. The Ghostbusters and their lawyer, Louis Tully, refuse to be stopped by Jack. When Jack has the Ghostbusters put in the Parkview mental hospital, there is an eclipse and Janosz kidnaps Oscar for Vigo. The mayor wants the Ghostbusters on the job, and when the mayor hears that Jack had the Ghostbusters put in the Parkview mental hospital, he fires Jack and has the Ghostbusters released to try to rescue Oscar from Vigo, and Vigo intends to make it as hard as possible for the Ghostbusters. |

Based on a novel by Dick King-Smith, author of The Sheep Pig (from which Babe was adapted), the touching and often spectacular The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep ingeniously presumes to explain the truth behind "Nessie," i.e., the Loch Ness Monster. The story, told in present day to a couple of American tourists by a kindly gentleman (Brian Cox) in a pub, begins with a lonely boy, Angus (Alex Etel), pining for his father, who is serving in the Royal Navy during World War II. Angus, along with his sister (Priyanka Xi) and mother (Emily Watson), live on an estate that has been billeted by soldiers in the Scottish Highlands, near Loch Ness. The troop’s commander (David Morissey) has an eye for mom, suspicions about a mysterious handyman, Lewis (Ben Chaplin), who is also a war hero, and an absurd contention that the Highlands are the real frontline in the war against Germany.
Into this intriguing drama comes a completely different element, a fantastical creature of Celtic mythology that befriends Angus and is, in fact, the sea-beast who will eventually be known as the Loch Ness Monster. Trying to hide the dinosaur-like fellow, nicknamed Crusoe, Angus enlists Lewis to transfer it to the lake, where boy and serpent have extraordinary adventures together until human stupidity threatens Crusoe’s existence. A true family film, there is a lot for adults to like about the grownup story in The Water Horse. Meanwhile, the wistful relationship between Angus and Crusoe—each of whom helps the other move past obstacles toward their individual destinies—will leave children feeling both happy and melancholy in the best possible sense. Directed by Jay Russell (My Dog Skip), The Water Horse is the best of a mini-genre of films about or inspired by old Nessie. |
