The movie is narrated by an ordinary, lonely, spiritually empty office employee (Edward Norton) who suffers from chronic insomnia and tries to escape from his humdrum existence. In an attempt to find comfort, he begins attending different disease support groups where he meets a charming but gloomy young woman, Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter), who is a pretender as the narrator is. While traveling on business, he encounters a more intriguing personage – Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a charismatic and cunning soap salesman. According to his perverted philosophy, self-perfection is the destiny of the weak and the only thing worth living for is self-destruction. They become fast friends and form an underground club where aggressive young men give vent to their frustrations in violent bare-knuckle fighting. Small-time crime boss Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney) assembles a gang of professional criminals, who are strangers to each other, to commit an armed robbery of a jewelry store. 'Go' is set mostly during one long Christmas Eve in the lives of a group of young adults on the events surrounding a drug deal in Los Angeles replayed three different times from three different views. In a straightforward manner; when slacker Simon Baines (Desmond Asknew) takes off for a getaway to Las Vegas with his friends, Ronna (Sarah Polley) takes his shift at the 24-hour grocery store where they work. When two guys, named Adam and Zack (Scott Wolf and Jay Mohr), walk in asking to score some dope from Simon, Ronna takes it upon herself and her friends Claire (Katie Holmes) and Mannie (Nathan Bexton) to buy some some stuff from the local drug dealer Todd Gains (Timothy Olyphant). But the drug deal is a sting that Adam and Zack are forced to set up by an overzealous narcotics agent, Burke (William Fichtner). Ronna is forced to dispose of the drugs. With no other alternative, she tries to double-cross Todd with phony drugs. Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Simon's adventures with his best friend Marcus (Taye Diggs) hit an unfortunate turn during a trip to a strip club, while Adam and Zack end up spending Christmas Eve with Burke and his wife Irene (Jane Krakowski), and afterwards while driving to a rave that Ronna is dealing, the guys accidentally hit Ronna with their car and leave her for dead. Nearby, Mannie nearly OD's on dope, and Claire gets more friendly with a vengeful Todd whom is now looking for Ronna. |

Will has a mysterious gift which allows him to penetrate into the minds of the criminals, he got retired after catching Lecter, but the massacres having place compel him to return to his dangerous duties. The fate is cynical: Graham is to ask imprisoned Gannibal Lecter for help to succeed, because the monstrous man-eater is a former forensic psychiatrist... and he is in some way connected with the Tooth Fairy. |

Sean Archer is a government agent who for six years has been trying to apprehend terrorist, Caster Troy, who tried to kill him but ended up killing Archer's son instead. When Archer corners Troy, Troy tells Archer that he has planted a bomb that will go off, unless he lets him go but Archer thinks that Troy is bluffing so a fight erupts that leaves Troy comatose. But later when they go through some of his brother, Pollux's things, they discover that Troy was telling the truth. All what they need now is to find out where it is and the only person who knows is Pollux. And the only person that he will talk to about it, is his brother, Caster but unfortunately he is a vegetable. A government official then suggests to Archer that he assume Caster's identity and ask Pollux about the bomb. So she brings him to a doctor who has perfected a method wherein the face of one individual is removed from him and placed on another. Archer agrees. The operation is a success so Archer as Troy goes to the prison where Pollux is being held and successfully gets him to tell him where the bomb is. Meanwhile, Troy who was believed to be comatose awakens and forces the doctor who operated on Archer to place Archer's face on him. He then goes to the prison as Archer and taunts Archer by telling him that he has destroyed all documentation of the operation and eliminated everyone who knew about it. He then takes his brother out and leaves Archer in prison. But Archer somehow manages to escape and is now trying to find someone who will believe and help him, while Troy is plotting something. |

The plot revolves around four characters. The thief, Albert Spica (Michael Gambon), is a stout man with a broad and thick beard. Brute and boorish, he abuses people, including his aristocratic and reserved wife, Georgina (Helen Mirren). Enslaved and humbled, Georgina enters into a liaison relationship with a gentle bookseller, Michael (Alan Howard). They have intimacy between meals in the kitchen of her husband's restaurant. When Albert gets to know about their affair, he and his men track down Georgina's lover and kill him in his book store. Having found Michael's dead body, Georgina plots her long-awaited vengeance. She brings the body to the restaurant's chef, Richard (Richard Bohringer), and asks him to cook it. She then presents her lover's roasted flesh to her vicious husband and suggests that he take a bite of it. Surrounded by Albert's other victims, the wife shoots him as soon as he cuts a piece of the flesh. |

Detective Nick Curren (Michael Douglas), conducting the criminal investigation of a rock star murder, is to interrogate the suspect - Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone), the woman writer who is a famous authoress of her shocking novels. She is blonde, bisexual, seductive, suspective and obviously dangerous - as well as invulnerable to all attempts to accuse her of the murder. But one of her novels contains the description of the same murder. Besides, Tramell was a lover of the killed guy, and what is more, his breathless body was found on the bed which was evidently a place of a hot sexual battle. Curren finds himself slowly involved into the web of Catherine's intrigue; he can only guess at her guilt. Is he doomed to be the hero of her next novel?
