Nicholas Oseransky (Matthew Perry) is a nice, mild-mannered, a bit naive guy living in peaceful suburban Montreal and working as a dentist. Oz, as his buddies call him, is unhappily married to a nymphomaniac woman, Sophie (Rosanna Arquette), who is sick and tired of him. If he divorced his wife, he would be poor as a church mouse.
One day a famous hitman from Chicago, Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis), moves in next door under the assumed name of "Jimmy Jones" to make a new start. But his "hope" doesn't come true. When Sophie learns of Jimmy's true identity, she forces Nicholas to go to Chicago and sell the hitman's whereabouts to the dangerous mobsters he ratted out. Moreover, the greedy Sophie decides to kill two birds with one stone: she presses Jimmy to finish her husband off so that she can get the life insurance money...

The movie takes a profound look at Kaufman's art as well as his personal life and his relationship with his girlfriend Lynne Margulies (Courtney Love), his best pal and partner Bob Zmuda (Paul Giamatti), and his manager George Shapiro (Danny DeVito).

This brilliant satirical comedy follows Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston), an ordinary IT worker who is fed up with his mediocre life and his boring job at a software company plagued by excessive management. The 19th installment follows MI-6 Commander James Bond to a swiss bank in Bilbao, Spain where upon retrieval of three million pounds (British dollars) a siege takes place. James barely escapes the local police, leaving them questioning the mysterious shooting that occurred minutes ago. The next day, at the MI-6 Headquarters in London, Bond first greet Miss Moneypenny and gives her a nice souvenir: a cigar. Q then calls him in first to meet Sir Robert King then to report on the mission. It was then that the three million pounds was in fact, a bomb which destroys the Headquarters and kills King. Bond's only suspect, who happens to be the woman from the swiss bank blows herself up form a hot-air balloon. He then meets Sir King's daughter, Electra, who now own her father's oil company. But Bond's real mission has a new enemy named Renard a man who feels no pain whatsoever after a bullet was put into his head, who along with Electra and their henchmen plan to nuke Europe and everything in it's path. Now with the help of Christmas Jones, a research scientist, James must foil the terrorists plan before the entire Easternmost countries are wiped out forever. The world is not enough for disasters. After an accident in a tunnel, a forensics expert (Denzel Washington) is left as a quadriplegic who is able only to move his head and one finger. Setting his finger to a computer, he is able to manipulate his environment with the help of a loving nurse (Queen Latifah). Even so, fearing seizures that could leave him a vegetable, he plans his "transition" with the help of a hesitational doctor friend. That all changes when he is confronted with clues from a serial killer that obviously are pointed to forensics investigation. The case clearly re-invokes his interest in life. A sharp, young cop's quick thinking saves the first crime scene. Recognizing her talent for forensics, he brings her (Angelina Jolie) unwillingly into forensics detection. Through radio contact, she becomes his eyes and legs on the scene. Michael Rooker also appears as the police captain, who has bungled earlier killings by the serial killer and is more interested in the press than in good police work. Ed O'Neill and Luis Guzman are support staff who aid Washington and run interference with Rooker. |
