Anna Faris returns as the caring yet dumb witted Cindy Campbell in the latest installment of the Scary Movie Franchise. Cindy has taken up a job as a house caretaker for a nice old lady that is said to be cursed. Cindy moves right in and the house is located right next to Craig Bierko as Tom Ryan, a down on his luck father. Cindy soon discovers a dreaded secret about the house and she is comforted by Tom who is watching his children for the weekend. As soon as the two become more then just friends, a huge storm rolls on in and hits the town. Tom discovers a giant hole in the ground and an alien TrIpod emerges from it's depth's. Meanwhile, Cindy finds the soul of a tortured boy living inside the house who tells her he knows the secret on how to defeat the aliens. But before he gives it too her, he vanishes. The only way to figure out the mystery is to find the boy's father. Cindy and Tom split away from each other and Tom, with his children, seek refuge in a torn up basement owned by shotgun wielding man named Oliver. Cindy, while trying to figure out her own mystery, bumps into her old friend Brenda Meeks. Teogether, they decide to defeat the aliens. Brenda then discovers a hidden village outside of town and Cindy figure's out the boys father is somewhere inside. Now it's up to Cindy and Brenda to find the boys father and unfold the mystery on how to defeat the aliens, who in fact have their own plans on how to torture such people like Shaq and Dr. Phil. |

So Don is sent to Cody, Colorado, to verify if the slaughterhouse, main supplier of Mickey's, is efficient as it appears and the production process is regular. During his investigations he discovers the horrible truth behind a simple hamburger; the reality is not like we think it is. Don discovers that the mass production system involves from the temp workers like Amber (Ashley Jonhson), to the exploitation of Mexican irregular immigrants. After a U.S. doctor in Morgue (Scott Wilson) orders a South Korean soldier to discharge toxic chemicals into the drain near the Han River in Seoul, a small tadpole grows into a monstrous creature. One day the horrifying mutant (voiced by Dal-su Oh) emerges from the depths of the river onto its bank for a feast of flesh. Among the monster's victims is a teenage girl named Hyun-seo (Ah-sung Ko) whose father Gang-du (Kang-ho Song) fails to rescue her from the clutches of the beast. Fearing that the mutant spreads a deadly virus, the government decides to seal off the river and quarantine people who have come in contact with the monster. American diplomat Robert Thorn (Liev Schreiber) and his young wife Katherine (Julia Stiles) wait expectantly for the birth of their first kid. The story and screenplay of this successful movie was written by famed singer-songwriter Nick Cave. In the press notes he says that he set out to write "a cohesive but mythical story that moved forward and was simple and affecting, as well as highly emotionally charged". This fine-tuned allegory relates to the cyclical bloodshed and is brutally violent, but its message is also brutally honest and meditative. The renegade Murphy brothers are in conflict with the controversial law enforcer (Ray Winstone). When two of the brothers are captured by authorities, the older (Guy Pearce) is given by a no-win choice: hunt and kill the lunatic Murphy Gang mastermind, his eldest brother Arthur (Danny Huston), otherwise the youngest (Richard Wilson) gets a hemp-tie on the gallows. This western reeks of the dry desert, with flies buzzing, temperatures soaring, and emotions spiraling out of control in the dusty, desolate and virtually lawless air of 1880s of the rural Australia. |
