This screen interpretation of vampire literature classic is the most well-known and, more to say, brilliant one. Set in London, this spectacular picture closely follows the book, but is even more dramatic. This eye-catching movie tells about Johnathan (Keanu Reeves) and Mina (Wynona Ryder), young pair which soon will face the ancient vampire - count Dracula (Gary Oldmen). When John heads to Transylvania for the business travel, he has to communicate with the famous Count and the monster accidentally sees John's medallion with the picture of Mina. Detective Nick Curren (Michael Douglas), conducting the criminal investigation of a rock star murder, is to interrogate the suspect - Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone), the woman writer who is a famous authoress of her shocking novels. She is blonde, bisexual, seductive, suspective and obviously dangerous - as well as invulnerable to all attempts to accuse her of the murder. But one of her novels contains the description of the same murder. Besides, Tramell was a lover of the killed guy, and what is more, his breathless body was found on the bed which was evidently a place of a hot sexual battle. Curren finds himself slowly involved into the web of Catherine's intrigue; he can only guess at her guilt. Is he doomed to be the hero of her next novel?
