Bill Murray's hero, Phil Connors, is a weather man - he works at the silver screen telling weather reports to the audience. There was a time when these two old men were in love with the same woman. Now they are neighbors and get along together. Children under 12 are not welcomed to watch this movie as it includes some "not-for-kids" scenes. But anyway, the film is very hilarious and the acting is funny as Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon do their best. |

Newton Davis (Steve Martin) has loved Becky Metcalf (Dana Delany) since his schooldays. A talented architect, he builds a dream house in his hometown of Dobbs Mills and presents it to his sweetheart with a marriage proposal. But Becky rejects the offer, considering him to be an impulsive dreamer and loser. Heartbroken, Davis leaves his house abandoned and goes back to New York. Comical situations which resemble different scenes from various blockbusters can make you hee-haw, because this film is one of the first and the best parodies among various "Scary movies" and other following films which are sometimes not as good as this one. |

The civilians include Tommy "House" Conklin, Lois Feldman, Kyle, and Arnie. Captain Thaddeus Harris wants to take over Lassard's job, and that's why Harris is determined to see the COP program fail. But it's Harris and his right hand man Proctor who mess up by unintentionally allowing every inmate at the precinct 19 jail to escape. |

The story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and the others didn't end with the destruction of the Death Star - it continues in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Imperial forces have since driven the Rebels to hide on the ice world Hoth. But even on such an icy, backwater world, they cannot escape the wicked Darth Vader's eye for long, and he devastates the Rebel base in an assault with the horrible AT-AT walkers. Luke flees to Dagobah to begin Jedi Knight training with Yoda, while Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO run the blockade of Imperial Star Destroyers in the Millenium Falcon. The Imperials pursue them across the galaxy and eventually catch up with them at Bespin. Now Darth Vader plans to use them as bait to lure Luke Skywalker to him, and turns Han Solo over to Boba Fett as a prize to be delivered to crime lord Jabba the Hutt. Luke learns a terrible family secret after losing a swordfight with Vader. Will he - and the others - escape the Empire's clutches? |
