In Thailand, John Rambo is living peacefully capturing snakes and transporting people and cargo in an old boat. But when he joins a group of mercenaries to venture into war-torn Burma, and rescue a group of Christian aid workers who were kidnapped by the ruthless local infantry unit. Rambo refuses, but is convinced by another member, Sarah Miller, to take them up there. When the aid workers are captured by the Burmese army, Rambo decides to venture alone into the war zone to rescue them. |

Great Britain, 2007. A deadly plague, known as the "Reaper Virus," has broken out, killing hundreds of thousands in its wake. In desperation, the British Government evacuates as many survivors as it can out of the infected area, and then builds a wall, preventing the remainder from escaping. Thirty years later, with the wall still up and the victims all but forgotten, the virus breaks out again. David Cronenberg's thriller is set in London where Anna Khitrova (Naomi Watts), a regular midwife living with her aunt and uncle Stepan, a man of Eastern European origin, tries to help a child whose mother, a young Russian immigrant, died in childbed. She finds the girl's diary and asks her uncle Stepan to translate it. She also finds the Trans-Siberian restaurant card inside the diary and visits Semyon, its owner, to trace the baby's relatives. Semyon shows much interest in the diary too, because being the head of a Russian mafia brotherhood it was he who made the child's mother a sex slave. His son Kirill (Vincent Cassel) is to become Semyon's successor, but there is Nikolai Luzhin (Viggo Mortensen), the mafia's driver and killer with great veiled ambitions who seems waiting for the moment to take the whole power in his own hands. Anna has known too much about the criminals, the baby is in great danger and Nikolai has to play the double game to protect them and at the same time to get benefit from the situation. |

In the years following World War II Father Lankester Merrin (Stellan Skarsgard) is haunted by memories of brutality of his war. But while investigating, they find out that the church was built to protect the area against an evil force, which has been buried long ago and eventually released along the excavations. The spawn of the evil Chucky doll is grown up to be a peaceful kind of guy. This time around, after hearing the news of a film being made about his parents' murderous legacy, Glen (Billy Boyd), an orphan offspring, goes to Hollywood, where he promptly brings homicidal Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) back to life. Chucky is seriously disappointed in his son's lack of inherent evil and tries to pass his vast knowledge of all murderous mayhem before Glen becomes some sort of nice guy. Tiff also doesn't hesitate to let her son repudiate their family's most cherished tradition - killing amusements. The action takes place in Hollywood, Jennifer Tilly plays herself becoming an unwitting hostess to the new family in this hilarious horror movie. |
