What would your life have been like if you had...? Jack Campbell (Nicolas Cage) has never asked himself that question. He is a successful Wall Street investment banker and playboy enjoying the high life in New York City. But one Christmas morning everything magically changes in his life. When Jack wakes up, he unexpectedly finds himself living in a modest suburban New Jersey house and working as a tire salesman. And most importantly he is married to Kate Reynolds (Téa Leoni), his college sweetheart whom he abandoned for the sake of his career in the past, and has two sweet kids, toddler Josh (Jake and Ryan Milkovich) and six-year-old Annie (Makenzie Vega). After his Vice-president suddenly dies, the President (Jeff Bridges) who is near the end of his final term, decides to leave a legacy by selecting a woman to fill the position. Enter a Senator (Joan Allen), who has shifted from the Republican Party to the Democratic. Initially appearing to be the perfect candidate, an allegation suddenly appears that she had been involved in a sexual orgy as a 19 year old in college. The confirmation committee chairman (Gary Oldman), a Republican, leaks the information to the press, while using the press discussion as a forum to bring it into the hearings. The chairman desires to get a Governor (William Petersen) into the office. The Governor had become a national hero when he attempted to rescue a young woman from a car that crashed from a bridge into deep water near where the Governor had been fishing. |

Long before humans appeared on the planet, dinosaurs ruled the earth. On a little off-coast island, a clan of lemurs finds a dinosaur egg, hatching. Since there are no parents, the lemurs take care of the newborn, Aladar. Years later, a medium meteor goes down close to the island and the shockwave forces its inhabitants to flee to the continent. There, Aladar and his family meet other dinosaurs for the first time as well as real dangers. The destruction caused by the meteor here has also forced a herd of different herbivores to move to a remote valley that can provide food and protection against the carnivorous predators following after. Since Aladar grew up with a different understanding of the ways of the world, his way of helping others first isn't accepted within the herd, but soon it is proven that reason may be better than panic. |

It happens that the beautiful Princess Pei Pei (Liu) is abducted from the Forbidden City and taken to America by villainous white men. The Emperor of China sends three of his most reliable, bravest and skilful guards to pay a ransom and retrieve his daughter he loves with all his soul. Chon Wang (Jackie Chan), an athletically built yet gawky imperial guard, is not among one of the three. He, however, insists on accompanying the guards and travels to the West to rescue Pei Pei he has affection for. On arrival in Nevada, the train the Imperial Guards are on is attacked by Roy O'Bannon (Owen Wilson) and his well-armed gang. Both Roy and Chon happen to be separated from their groups and reluctantly become companions to find the Princess.
