William Thacker (Hugh Grant) was a shy, kind, attractive Englishman who kept a small travel bookstore in the Notting Hill district in West London and shared an apartment with a whimsical Welsh pal, Spike (Rhys Ifans). The chance meeting with a celebrated American movie star, Anna Scott (Julia Roberts), who one day dropped into his store, could have ended in nothing if William hadn't run out a few minutes later to buy some coffee. On his way back to the shop, he accidentally rammed into Anna in the street, spilling the coffee onto her blouse. In ancient Egypt, high priest Imhotep started a forbidden relationship with Anck Su Namun, Pharaoh Seti's Mistress. The 19th installment follows MI-6 Commander James Bond to a swiss bank in Bilbao, Spain where upon retrieval of three million pounds (British dollars) a siege takes place. James barely escapes the local police, leaving them questioning the mysterious shooting that occurred minutes ago. The next day, at the MI-6 Headquarters in London, Bond first greet Miss Moneypenny and gives her a nice souvenir: a cigar. Q then calls him in first to meet Sir Robert King then to report on the mission. It was then that the three million pounds was in fact, a bomb which destroys the Headquarters and kills King. Bond's only suspect, who happens to be the woman from the swiss bank blows herself up form a hot-air balloon. He then meets Sir King's daughter, Electra, who now own her father's oil company. But Bond's real mission has a new enemy named Renard a man who feels no pain whatsoever after a bullet was put into his head, who along with Electra and their henchmen plan to nuke Europe and everything in it's path. Now with the help of Christmas Jones, a research scientist, James must foil the terrorists plan before the entire Easternmost countries are wiped out forever. The world is not enough for disasters. And the world is not enough for terrorists. The world is only enough for one man- one hero: James Bond 007! |

After an accident in a tunnel, a forensics expert (Denzel Washington) is left as a quadriplegic who is able only to move his head and one finger. Setting his finger to a computer, he is able to manipulate his environment with the help of a loving nurse (Queen Latifah). Even so, fearing seizures that could leave him a vegetable, he plans his "transition" with the help of a hesitational doctor friend. That all changes when he is confronted with clues from a serial killer that obviously are pointed to forensics investigation. The case clearly re-invokes his interest in life. A sharp, young cop's quick thinking saves the first crime scene. Recognizing her talent for forensics, he brings her (Angelina Jolie) unwillingly into forensics detection. Through radio contact, she becomes his eyes and legs on the scene. Michael Rooker also appears as the police captain, who has bungled earlier killings by the serial killer and is more interested in the press than in good police work. Ed O'Neill and Luis Guzman are support staff who aid Washington and run interference with Rooker. |

A team of research scientists in the off-shore laboratory Aquatica are running experiments on sharks, trying to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Unbeknownst to her colleagues, Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows), whose father suffered from this fatal illness, breaks ethical codes, genetically re-engineering the DNA of mako sharks to increase the brain size and obtain more cancer-battling enzymes. Unfortunately, the experiment also makes the sharks larger, stronger, more intelligent and aggressive. When financial backer Russell Franklin (Samuel L.Jackson), who is skeptical about the tests, threatens to close down the project, the team performs a demonstration experiment removing brain tissue from the largest shark. The test is successful, but then things go wayward: the shark subject unexpectedly awakes and tears Jim Whitlock's (Stellan Skarsgеrd) arm off. The scientists call a rescue helicopter but it crashes into the station during a tropical storm. The newly smart killer-sharks decide to make the most of the situation and sink the station in order to escape into the sea.

The priceless artwork is stolen by Thomas Crown (Pierce Brosnan), an adventurous self-made billionaire who can easily afford to buy anything he desires but there is nothing he enjoys better than walking on the razor's edge and winning. Thomas is a respected businessman therefore he is the last person the police suspect. But there is one person, namely Catherine Banning (Rene Russo), a smart insurance investigator who feels in her bones that Crown is involved in the theft. Hired to assist the police in retrieving the masterpiece, Catherine resorts to various means, from intelligence and cunning to personal charm, to accomplish her mission. |

The comedy drama comprises two interweaving stories, all taking place in Alabama in 1965. The first story follows a glamorous, ambitious and eccentric housewife, Lucille Vincent (Melanie Griffith), who decides to put a stop to her husband's continual abuse and kills him by chopping off his head. With her husband's head in a hat box, she takes her seven kids to her brother's place and heads for the bright lights of Hollywood, where she is determined to achieve television stardom. Lucille reaches Los Angeles with a series of adventures and is offered to act in a movie. When the box with the head inside eventually falls into the hands of two policemen, Lucille gets arrested and escorted back to Alabama for her trial. The second story is narrated by Peejoe (Lucas Black), Lucille's 12-year-old nephew, an honest boy with a keen sense of justice who becomes involved in the racial strife. He raises an accusation against a corrupt sheriff who murdered a small black boy, Taylor Jackson (Miller), who dared to take a swim in the town's municipal swimming pool. The two story lines are joined at the trial. |

Dr. David Marrow (Liam Neeson) calls three insomniac volunteers, Eleanor Vance (Lili Taylor), Theo (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Luke Sanderson (Owen Wilson), to participate in a sleep disorder study which is supposed to take place in a huge sinister deserted mansion with a terrifying past. It was built 130 years ago by a textile tycoon, Hugh Crain (Charles Gunning), for his beautiful wife Carolyn (Hadley Eure) and his kids who died aborning and now haunt their house. The research subjects soon are shocked to discover that they are actually selected for an experiment on human fear.
