Scientists discover that bizarre things are happening on Earth's surface: birds lose their internal navigational ability, whales change their migration patterns, some people in Boston die at the same time for no apparent reason. An Army sergeant (Samual Jackson) takes six of his special troops on a training mission into the rain-soaked Colombian jungles and only two come out alive. When the rescue mission arrives, they see one soldier (Brian Van Holt) killing another and carrying a wounded comrade (Giovanni Ribisi). As the interrogation begins, the soldier refuses to talk to anyone other than another Ranger. The investigating officer (Connie Nielsen) protests, but her commanding officer (Timothy Daly) nonetheless brings in a former Ranger and current DEA agent (John Travolta) to help. The agent is currently on suspension from DEA for allegedly accepting a bribe. From this point on, the plot continues to twist and turn and offers numerous surprises that keeps the story interesting. |

The action takes place in the 17th century in the Caribbean Sea. Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), a beautiful young daughter of a governor, gets a mysterious golden medallion. Owing to the disappearance of the medallion, the skeletal pirates have to attack the city of Port Royal and kidnap Elisabeth to get it back. The roguish yet courageous Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), along with Will Turner, assembles a crew to rescue Ms. Swann and take vengeance on the detestable pirates. They hijack a ship from the British Navy and set out on an extremely adventurous quest that makes the blood curdle and shivers run up and down the spine. |

Alex Scott (Owen Wilson) is involved to disclose the villains who have stolen Switchblade, the new prototype of the top-secret military spy plane. American government will do anything to bring the thieves to justice; the main suspect is Arnold Gundars (Malcolm McDowell), an international arms-smuggler. Scott is to team with Kelly Robinson (Eddy Murphy), a self-esteem and rather cocky world-class boxer who have enormous ambitions along with a fair amount of humor. Gundars is a fan of boxing, so the Robinson's skills surely will help to take the villain, unless Robinson's conceit will ruin the plans of the hilarious agent couple. Special Agent Rachel Wright (Famke Janssen) assists the guys in their inquiry driving Alex mad at the same time. |

This is a remake of the Japan version of "The Ring", which still is a cornerstone of the contemporary horror. A journalist woman named Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) gets to know that her niece and the friends of the girl have died instantly and inexplicably when they checked a room in a distant motel, during their vacation. Rachel has a son Aidan (David Dorfman), she figures out that a mysterious video tape is involved in this story; these who are dead now, have watched it. Among other things, she resembles some ominous strangeness browsing photos of her dead niece's friends: their faces are uncommonly changed. And having seen the tape which initially seemed an amateurish film peculiar with an unskillful cutting, she realizes that something evil and nightmarishly unavoidable has begun looming over her and her son. Soon after watching the tape containing these various, inexplicably sinister frames she hears her phone ringing, and picks up a receiver only to hear how many days remained for her to live. Now her life is a race against the time, she is to know something about the tape and the horrifying story that lays hidden behind the dust of the past decades, spotting some things around her, the things she have seen watching the cursed cutting. A masterpiece of Gore Verbinski as a director and Naomi Watts as an actress is a prominent remake between the ones of the same genre. |

A group of British college students who are close friends embark on a night of intense partying including alcohol and drugs, and while under the influence, intent on a bit of fun, try to establish a link with the spirit world using a homemade Ouija board. However, fun is the last thing on their minds when the Ouija board spells out the words "All Die", and they give up on the board before closing the link to the spirit world and, unknown to them, unleash something evil into their world, and it isn't long before one of them is murdered by an unseen force.
