The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family. |

Pumpkin and Honey Bunny (not their real names) are two lovebirds/thieves who have decided to rob the restaurant they're currently eating at. But the restaurant doesn't turn out to be as easy as the other places they've robbed. |

The movie is really touching, dramatic and poetically aesthetic, focusing attention at the social life disharmony and the delicate beauty surrounding us. |

Ben Campbell is a young, highly intelligent, student at M.I.T. in Boston who strives to succeed. Intriged by the desire to make money, Ben joins his new friends on secret weekend trips to Las Vegas where, using their skills of code talk and hand signals, they have Ben make hundreds of thousands of dollars in winning blackjack at casino after casino. Ben only wants to make enough money for the tuition to Harvard and then back out. A giant structure found in the desert has studied by various scientist for nearly fifty years and are no where near discovering what it is. Until Daniel jackson, a language expert deciphers and reveals that it's a Stargate. He also discovers how to make it work. They then learn that it's some kind interstellar transport device. Now a group of soldiers led by despondent Colonel Jack O'Neill go to the planet, also accompanying them is Jackson, who said that he can reactivate the Stargate to send them back but he forgot to mention that he needs to find the symbols and they can't find anything, so it appears that they are trapped. And if that isn't enough, some aliens arrive and capture them and have nefarious plans for Earth. |

This fantastic thriller bears strong resemblance to the "Cube" and "Pi" movies, and, at some points, lets us feel the paranoid atmosphere of Kafka's books. This ominous and ingenious film is one of the most outstanding indie projects, a "Sundance" and "Fant-Asia" festivals nominee. Simon (Jeremy Sisto), a young programmer, finds an unexpected package in his room, and, when the box is opened, he finds himself surrounded by strange events and obsessed by sudden wishes. Being a test subject in a dangerous experiment testing a new advertising scheme, Simon turns out to be plagued by mysteriously empty brown packages, a sense of paranoia and a craving to drink lots and lots of milk. |

Pierce plays a vulcanologist who arrives at a country side (fictitious) named Dante's Peak after his boss instructs him to investigate the possibility of a dormant volcano (the Dante's Peak) getting active again in that region. As story progresses, we see that Dalton (Brosnan) getting increasingly convinced that the volcano might blow up but his boss is reluctant to declare an emergency in the city yet (because of possibility that if the volcano finally does never erupt, the real estate prices will plummet anyway and the city might loose a huge financial investment deal). Unfortunately, the common residents of the area know nothing about it until very late. Finally, when Dante's peak does erupt, the city panics, some does not survive the catastrophe, including Dalton's boss and for Dalton and the mayor of the city (who falls in love with Dalton) and her children, it becomes a race against the pyroclastic cloud to save their own lives. |
