Jerry, Bill, Mary, and Denise are two couples out on the road in hopes of writing a book on offbeat roadside attractions. When the four meet Captain Spaulding, they learn of the legend of Dr. Satan. When the four take off in search of finding the tree that Dr. Satan was hung from, they pick up hitchhiker Baby. When their car breaks down, Baby invites them into her house. This is where the two couples meet the Firefly family, a murderous clan of bizarre people. As the family attacks the unsuspecting couples, Jerry and his friends try to survive the house of 1000 corpses and it's dark secrets. |

An Army sergeant (Samual Jackson) takes six of his special troops on a training mission into the rain-soaked Colombian jungles and only two come out alive. When the rescue mission arrives, they see one soldier (Brian Van Holt) killing another and carrying a wounded comrade (Giovanni Ribisi). As the interrogation begins, the soldier refuses to talk to anyone other than another Ranger. The investigating officer (Connie Nielsen) protests, but her commanding officer (Timothy Daly) nonetheless brings in a former Ranger and current DEA agent (John Travolta) to help. The agent is currently on suspension from DEA for allegedly accepting a bribe. From this point on, the plot continues to twist and turn and offers numerous surprises that keeps the story interesting. |

Three days before his execution, he grants an exclusive interview to Elizabeth "Bitsey" Bloom (Kate Winslet), the brave reporter who sets out to learn the truth behind Gale's crime. Set almost entirely in London, England during five frantic weeks before Christmas follows a web-like pattern of inter-related, loosely related and unrelated stories of a dozen or more various individuals with their love lives, or lack of them. The central character is the new bachelor prime minister David who cannot express his growing feelings for his new personal assistant Natalie. The prime minister's older sister Karen slowly grows aware of her husband Harry's flirtation with an office worker named Mia. Karen's friend Daniel is a recently widowed writer whose 11-year-old son asks for love advice about a girl he has a crush on. Meanwhile, Jamie is another writer who leaves his girlfriend after catching her cheating on him and travels to France to write a novel where he pursues a possible romance with his non-English speaking Portuguese maid Aurelia. Also, Harry's American secretary Sarah questions a romance she pursues with the office hunk Karl, but her personal family problems get in the way. Other secondary characters involve a photographer who pursues his best friend's new wife Juliet; a pair of movie stand-ins, named John and Judy, who grow closer after their simulated love scenes; a libidinous chum who wants to travel to Wisconsin, USA to score with women; and a burned-out former rock star named Billy Mack who is the main connection between all stories involved. |

One absurd misunderstanding can turn your life upside down. The easygoing and timid Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler), an executive assistant at a pet products company, is mistaken for an aggressively inclined neurotic. All his attempts to clear himself yield no results, and he is sentenced to attend anger management therapy headed by the eccentric Dr. Buddy Rydell (Jack Nicholson) who is able to turn a phlegmatic person into a schizophrenic. Alas, poor Dave has to go through hell. The enthusiastic, overenergetic doctor is determined to help Dave struggle with his inner demons, making his life a real nightmare. Willie (Billy Bob Thornton), a lonely drunkard, and his midget friend Marcus (Tony Cox) work the Holiday seasons as Santa Claus and his elf in department stores. However, their intent is to rob malls so as to hit the jackpot. When Christmas shoppers, satisfied with their purchaces, leave the mall, Santa and his Elf crack the store safe and make off with their own holiday presents. But in Phoenix their annual robbery gets endangered by a pesky store manager, a sharp mall detective, and a precocious 8-year-old boy who believes that Willie—as intoxicated and felonious as he seems to be—is the real Santa he's been looking for. The innocent, ingenuous little boy evokes inner change in Santa. |

Their first meeting developed into a stormy relationship. However, their marriage proved to be fragile, and they separated (mainly because of Hughes’ affair with Assia Wevill (Amira Casar). Down-and-out, depressed, with a broken heart, Sylvia Plath took her own life in 1963. |

In Middletown, at 11:14 PM, two cars accidents happen at the same time, affecting the lives of five different groups of people. A drunken driver hits a man in a lonely road near a bridge; three young men hits a woman with a van, one of the passenger has a severed penis while another man on the road shoots them; a young man robs a convenience store, with the support of the clerk; a man finds a body in a cemetery and gets rid off it; and a young woman pretending to be pregnant tries to raise money for an abortion. His Afro-American buddy allows Jimmy to make a demo-record at the studio but their friendship crushes when Jimmy and Alex get caught red-handed at the scene of kissing. Meantime, Jimmy takes part in rap contests despite the fact he isn't met with open hands in the Afro-American community. |

A group of radical animal rights activists break into a British laboratory where scientists conduct secret experiments on monkeys and chimpanzees. They release some chimps that turn out to be infected by the virus of murderous rage. Thus the activists inadvertently unleash the contagious virus that twenty eight days later rages throughout the country, turning the population into bloodthirsty, zombie-like creatures.
