Movie based on the television series finds Jim Phelps and his team charged with stopping a traitor from stealing and selling classified material. Everything was going well until the man they are following and all of the team are inexplicably killed except for Ethan Hunt. Ethan then calls the Director and goes to meet him when he discovers that the whole mission was to ferret a mole that they have been suspicious of for some time. The Director shows evidence that hints that Ethan's the one they have been looking for but Ethan knows that he is not, so he escapes. Ethan then arranges to meet the buyer and whom he warns against using the material he has and when they meet he offers to get what he paid for in exchange for telling whom the mole is. Ethan, along with Phelps' wife Claire recruits two disavowed agents to help him which won't be easy. |

In 1896, a construction engineer from the British Army, J.H. Patterson (Kilmer) is sent to build a railway bridge across Uganda's Tsavo River for the British East African Railway. Soon after he arrives, workmen begin to disappear at night from their tents - never to be seen alive again. The engineer soon discovers that a pair of man-eating lions are stalking around the bridge and campsites, killing the workmen for food. He tries a number of different methods to get rid of them, but the beasts always seem to know what Patterson is doing and avoid being shot. After 30 men have been killed Patterson's boss recruits a hunter, Charles Remington (Douglas) to hunt down and destroy the lions. But the lions continue killing the workmen until they flee the camps, jumping onto the train as it rolls through Tsavo. The biopic follows the life and career of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali (Will Smith) also known as ‘The Greatest’. He was the only boxer to become the world’s heavyweight champion three times. He was born in 1942 and was called Cassius Clay. When in 1954 somebody stole his new bike, Ali couldn’t stand up for himself, so he went to a gym to learn how to fight. Ali trained six days a week and was soon really good at running, skipping and, of course, boxing. In 1964 Clay converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. The movie depicts his rise and fall in sports and politics, including forfeiture of his boxing license and championship title for his principled refusal to serve in the military during the Vietnam War and his comeback battles against Joe Frazier and George Foreman. |
