The story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and the others didn't end with the destruction of the Death Star - it continues in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Imperial forces have since driven the Rebels to hide on the ice world Hoth. But even on such an icy, backwater world, they cannot escape the wicked Darth Vader's eye for long, and he devastates the Rebel base in an assault with the horrible AT-AT walkers. Luke flees to Dagobah to begin Jedi Knight training with Yoda, while Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO run the blockade of Imperial Star Destroyers in the Millenium Falcon. The Imperials pursue them across the galaxy and eventually catch up with them at Bespin. Now Darth Vader plans to use them as bait to lure Luke Skywalker to him, and turns Han Solo over to Boba Fett as a prize to be delivered to crime lord Jabba the Hutt. Luke learns a terrible family secret after losing a swordfight with Vader. Will he - and the others - escape the Empire's clutches? |

In this hilarious fantasy movie, Andy (John Morris) goes off to summer camp, leaving his toy friends to their own devices. When Andy's mother (Laurie Metcalf) decides to take some old items for a yard sale, Woody the Cowboy (Tom Hanks) sets off to rescue the toy penguin Wheezy (Joe Ranft). Al McWiggin (Wayne Knight), a toy store owner and collector, notices the cowboy doll and offers $50 for him but Andy's mom refuses, knowing that Woody is a highly valued collectible. Determined to get Woody for his collection, the malicious man steals the toy. At Al's apartment Woody meets other collectible toys, Stinky Pete the Prospector (Kelsey Grammer), a horse named Bullseye and Jessie, the Yodeling Cowgirl (Joan Cusack), and discovers that the greedy toy collector is about to sell them to a Japanese toy museum. The animated family movie tells the delightful story of what happens when toys are left alone in a room. Andy Davis (John Morris) is a wide-eyed little boy who likes playing with his toys, especially with Woody (Tom Hanks), an old-fashioned pull-string cowboy doll. Realizing that the Prince is in trouble, the 3 good fairies head to Maleficent's castle at the Forbidden Mountain, and spring the Prince loose. But the Prince soon finds himself up against Maleficent's army of brutes, and the power of Maleficent's evil spells - which include a thorn forest as thick as weeds around King Stefan's castle, and a fight against Maleficent when she turns herself into a dragon! Freezing temperatures and the command of evil tigers oblige them to fight for survival, from time to time animals get into different hilarious and threatening situations, trying to save the human child which was torn from its tribe as a result of the tiger assault. Manny and Sid want to return the infant to his father when the demonic saber-toothed striped villain named Diego (Denis Leary) claims his rights to this child. |
