After losing their payload the ramshackle, sinking, ocean-going salvage tug "Sea Star" takes refuge in the eye of a typhoon in an attempt to make repairs. Whilst trying to find help the tug, captained by Robert Everton ('Donald Sutherland' (qv)), discovers a Russian science vessel adrift in the eye. The crew believes their troubles are over and they are set for life when the captain informs them of the value of salvaging this apparent ghost-ship. However, the navigator Kit Foster ('Jamie Lee Curtis' (qv)) and the chief engineer Steve Baker ('William Baldwin' (qv)) are not convinced that it will be that easy. Once power is restored to the ship strange things start to happen and the crew mysteriously disappear one by one. It isn't until the discovery of the last remaining Russian crew member, the chief science officer Nadia Vinogradiya ('Joanna Pacula' (qv)), that the crew realise the enemy ranged against them isn't the Russians but something far more malevolent... |

'Go' is set mostly during one long Christmas Eve in the lives of a group of young adults on the events surrounding a drug deal in Los Angeles replayed three different times from three different views. In a straightforward manner; when slacker Simon Baines (Desmond Asknew) takes off for a getaway to Las Vegas with his friends, Ronna (Sarah Polley) takes his shift at the 24-hour grocery store where they work. When two guys, named Adam and Zack (Scott Wolf and Jay Mohr), walk in asking to score some dope from Simon, Ronna takes it upon herself and her friends Claire (Katie Holmes) and Mannie (Nathan Bexton) to buy some some stuff from the local drug dealer Todd Gains (Timothy Olyphant). But the drug deal is a sting that Adam and Zack are forced to set up by an overzealous narcotics agent, Burke (William Fichtner). Ronna is forced to dispose of the drugs. With no other alternative, she tries to double-cross Todd with phony drugs. Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Simon's adventures with his best friend Marcus (Taye Diggs) hit an unfortunate turn during a trip to a strip club, while Adam and Zack end up spending Christmas Eve with Burke and his wife Irene (Jane Krakowski), and afterwards while driving to a rave that Ronna is dealing, the guys accidentally hit Ronna with their car and leave her for dead. Nearby, Mannie nearly OD's on dope, and Claire gets more friendly with a vengeful Todd whom is now looking for Ronna. |

The events take a sinister turn when Marcus and his fellows learn that a huge shipment of their jeans, which have been rigged with the bombs, will soon be smuggled outside the country. Marcus will have his work cut out to neutralize a large Asian gang and unmask corrupt CIA agents so as to avert a global calamity and grave damage to his company's reputation.

A former L.A. drug dealer (Thomas Jane) has moved to Houston to make a new life for himself as a married architect. Everything falls apart when he is suddenly visited by one of his former cohorts (Aaron Eckhart) who comes carrying heroin. Discovering the dope, the architect flushes it down the drain. This sets up a series of tough customers seeking the dope including a rasta hitman (Glenn Plummer), an ex-lover (Paulina Porizkova) who ties up and rapes James, a criminal (James LeGros) with a penchant for torture, and a rogue cop (Mickey Rourke). Michael Jeter also appears as a psychologist from an adoption agency where the couple is seeking to adopt a child. |

After Kenny accidentaly kills a cop's diabetic horse by feeding it the food he purchased from a munchie run, he is put in jail and is given a 1 million dollar bail. The rest of the group must bail Kenny out before Nasty Nate gets to him. The group decides to sell marijuana that Thurgood gets through his job as a janitor at a pharmaceutical lab. They become pals with rap star Sir Smoke-A-Lot and the rivals of dealer Samson Simpson. On the side, Thurgood seeks the love of Mary Jane, an anti-pot daughter of a dealer. What follows is typical pothead behaviour with a ton of cameos. Look carefully. |
