Jack Cole is a soft spoken, mystical, new age New York cop with a checkered past. He is transferred to Los Angeles to help Los Angeles cop Jim Campbell solve a series of brutal murders in which the victims are crucified. The murders that have happened since Jack arrived in Los Angeles just don't sit right with him. When the killer, known as the "Family Man", kills Ellen DunLeavy, who happens to be Jack's ex wife and the mother of his two kids, and Ellen's husband Andrew DunLeavy, it becomes personal - especially when Jack's prints are found on Ellen's body. Jack meets with his military mentor Smith, not knowing that Smith is in cahoots with local crime boss Frank Deverell. |

A cheerful, trustful and dare-devil criminal named Archie Moses makes friends with Rock Keats (Damon Wayans), unaware of his being an undercover cop, actually named Jack Carter, assigned to catch the ruthless drug lord Frank Colton (James Caan). Keats wins not only Archie's confidence but also his affection as he comes to his rescue in a fight. Archie graciously invites him to join Colton's gang and even get him involved in a multimillion-dollar drug smuggling operation. During the police raid, Carter is accidentally shot in the head by his best buddy who flees to Arizona. After recovering, Keats returns to his duties only to discover that Archie is arrested and agrees to turn state's evidence against the villainous drug king pin. But there is only one condition: he wants to be escorted to California by his former friend. Carter has nothing to do but to agree. Once friends and now bitter enemies, Moses and Carter, however, join forces when they find themselves pursued by violent assassins hired by the vengeful Colton. |

John Kruger works for a branch of the Justice Department call Witness Security or Witsec, that's responsible for relocatibng and protecting witnesses. John's latest assignment is Lee Cullen, who works for a company that's a Defense Contractor, who is selling weapons to enemies of the U.S. When she agrees to get the evidence that the Feds need to take them down, she goes in and does it but was not told by the Feds that she was going to have a bullseye on her for the rest of her life. After refusing to be placed in Kruger's custody, some men attack her home but Kruger arrives just in time to save her and relocate. Later when several witnesses under Witsec are killed, Kruger accompanies another Witsec agent Deguerin to save a potential victim, when they get there, Deguerin shoots the killer but also kills the witness, and then plants a photo of Lee in the shooter's pocket. When Kruger sees the photo, Deguerin asks where she is, Kruger intially gives him a false location but while on the plane, Kruger sensing something's not right, calls her, which means that she is suppose to meet him somewhere. Kruger's drugged and when he awakens he discovers that Deguerin is not only working with the people who are trying to sell the weapons but has just framed him for killing another agent. Kruger escapes and gets to Lee in time but unfortunately, he is still a fugitive, so he must try and prove his innocence while trying to protect Lee. |

Also starring are Iggy Pop, Crispin Glover, Billy Bob Thornton and Lance Henricksen.

Often using physical comedy and sight gags, this movie chronicles the slapstick misadventures of Ted, the Bellhop. He's on his first night on the job, when he's asked to help out a coven of witches in the Honeymoon Suite. Things only get worse when he delivers ice to the wrong room and ends up in a domestic argument at a really bad time. Next, he foolishly agrees to watch a gangster's kids for him while he's away. Finally, he finishes off the night refereeing a ghastly wager. |
