Daryl Chase (Orlando Jones), a prosperous New York investment banker, considers the idea of stealing another man's passport and assuming his identity to be very good. He goes on the run after being wrongly charged with laundering Mexican drug cartel money and desperately tries to take shelter. But the hapless man soon comes to realize that he has jumped out of the frying-pan into the fire. Freddy Tiffany (Eddie Griffin), whose name he is using, proves to be a tough street hustler who is even more wanted by the police than he is. During full moon nights a werewolf roams the streets of Los Angeles assaulting and killing strangers. In the near future, earth's fossil resources are about to be used up. In an attempt to save the human race, scientists have begun building a gate, through which faster than light travel will be possible - but only if there is a gate at the destination to receive the travelers. The Robinson Family has been chosen to travel to Alpha Prime - the only other inhabitable planet known - at normal speed, ten years, cryogenically frozen. But Dr. Smith, a sinister man, sabotages their spaceship, Jupiter 2, but is also betrayed by his people. So, he has to work together with the Robinsons in order to survive himself. When Jupiter 2 is falling into the sun, the only chance to survive is to activate the hyperdrive - without a gate at the other end. Thirty years ago, in the Carpathians Mountains of Romania, a group of explorers blows an entrance to a cave hidden under a church, but the explosion causes a landslide and they become trapped inside. In the present days, the expedition leaded by Dr. Nicolai and his assistant, Dr. Kathryn are exploring the place and they find the access through an underwater river, requesting the experienced cave divers team leaded by Jack. Dr. Nicolai discovers that, in accordance with the local legend, the church was built to seal the cave as a display of God's protective power, and that Templar Knights entered the cave to fight winged demons. When the group reaches a cave though a tunnel one mile below and three miles in, a creature attacks one of the members and his breathing apparatus explodes, collapsing the tunnel and trapping the group in the cave. Sooner they realize that they are the rescue team and they have to find an exit to survive from the attack of the monsters. |

It was built 130 years ago by a textile tycoon, Hugh Crain (Charles Gunning), for his beautiful wife Carolyn (Hadley Eure) and his kids who died aborning and now haunt their house. The research subjects soon are shocked to discover that they are actually selected for an experiment on human fear.
