The life of plants and animals of the rainforest is under the deadly threat: bulldozers and other human machines are destroying trees and all tropical inhabitants. The other threat is that the evil spirit named Hexxus (voiced by Tim Curry) will be released if an old tree where he was confined long ago, will be injured by the bulldozers. Forest animals and mystic creatures should stop the felling: Krysta (voiced by Samantha Mathis), Pips (voiced by Christian Slater), Beetle Boys and Zak (Jonathan Ward) should prevent the forest from extinction. Zak is a human, who initially worked at the felling, but later he sworn to defend the beauty of the forest. |

Two young promising architects, Oscar Novak (Matthew Perry) and Peter Steinberg (Oliver Platt), are bidding on a multi-million dollar contract to restore a cultural center. It is Valentine's Day, the most romantic day of the year. At a high school dance, love is in the air. An unattractive student, Jeremy Melton (Joel Palmer), tries to ask girls to dance with him, but to no avail. At last plump Dorothy Wheeler (Jessica Capshaw) agrees, but school bullies don't like the couple and begin mocking at them. Dorothy says that Jeremy has attacked her. Then the boys humble Jeremy by calling him a pervert, pulling off his clothes and battering him in front of the entire school. Many years pass. In 2001, Dorothy, Paige Prescott (Denise Richards), Kate Davies (Marley Shelton), Lily Voight (Jessica Cauffiel), and Shelley Fisher (Katherine Heigl), who were at the school dance, plan to celebrate upcoming Valentine's Day together. However, one of the girls, Shelley, is brutally murdered by a Cupid-mask wearing killer who sent her a threatening Valentine's Day card just before the attack. When Kyle Williams (Matthew Le Nevez) takes up a position as sheriff in the sleepy town of Bywater, he hopes of having a quiet life. This comedy follows the misadventures of two childhood friends, Charlie Carbone (Jerry O' Connell), a New York hair stylist, and Louis Booker (Anthony Anderson), a musician and a magnet for bad luck. Once they get involved in shady dealings of mafia boss Sal (Christopher Walken) and have to travel to the Australian Outback to deliver a large sum of money to Sal's associates, Mr. Smith (Marton Csokas). The assignment is not as easy as it seems to be. First the guys enjoy their trip, but soon their good mood is replaced by fear when they accidentally injure a kangaroo. Trying to revive the poor animal, they decide to put Louis’s lucky red jacket on the kangaroo and to take a picture of it. Luckily, the kangaroo comes to its senses. On the other hand, unfortunately for the travellers, the unreasonable beast, with the money-containing-jacket on, skips away and is lost to sight in the jungles. Louis and Charlie, panic-stricken, team up with a smart American wildlife expert, Jessie by name (Estella Warren), to chase down the kangaroo in order to retrieve the mob cash. |
