Set in 1950s, Asylum follows a psychiatrist family living in a house by the psychiatric asylum. In this drama based on the novel by Patrick McGrath, a forensic psychiatrist Max (Hugh Bonneville) serves at a remote psychiatric hospital where his wife slowly begins to fall for a dangerously handsome inmate named Edgar (Marton Csokas). Stella (Natasha Richardson) soon finds herself caught in the web of intrigue and the forbidden passion. A little pergola on the grounds of the Asylum becomes a shelter for the insane love, until the moment when Edgar escapes and hides somewhere in London. From this turning point the really deadly game begins as Stella's child is under the threat.

The broken farmer Dan rents his farm for the scientist John from the Bovine Genetics Technology that is researching genetic modifications of cattle to increase its fertilization. The veterinarian Orla is bitten by the calf while helping the cow to deliver, and she feels that something went wrong with the experiment. During the night, the cow has a narrow passage for the calf, and Dan asks the young couple Jamie and Mary that is parked in a trailer in front of his farm's entrance to help him in the delivery. When the offspring is born, it bites Dan; Orla arrives later and realizes that it is a genetic anomaly and she sacrifices the calf. During the autopsy of the animal, she discovers that the fetus is pregnant and she destroys the freak hybrids. However, one of them escapes and attacks a cow first and Jamie later. When John arrives in the farm, he discovers that there is the danger of infection of human beings and decides to quarantine the spot. But one offspring is alive and need to be captured.

As an adventurer, Passepartout ends up accompanying time-obsessed English gentleman, Phileas Fogg (played by Steve Coogan) on a daring mission to journey around the world. Fogg has wagered with members of his London club that he can traverse the world in 80 days. Along the way, they encounter many interesting 19th Century figures and have many exciting and suspenseful situations in their voyage around the world.

Ella (Anne Hathaway) has been cursed by her dimented fairy godmother with the gift of obedience. On the quest to find her godmother again to make her take back the "gift", Ella meets, and reluctantly falls in love with the Prince (Hugh Dancy) of Frell.

Conor McPherson's comedy The Actors stars Michael Caine as an aging never-was performer. Anthony O'Malley (Caine) convinces young colleague and castmate Tom (Dylan Moran) to hone his craft by pretending to be someone he isn't in real life. Tony suggests that they rip off gangster Barreller (Michael Gambon). All goes according to plan, until Barreller's daughter Dolores (Lena Headey) falls in love with Tom, who is disguised as his sister's boyfriend Clive (Ben Miller). Miranda Richardson rounds out the cast as a London crime boss.

Alexander Dumas's "The Count of Monte Cristo" gets a breathtaking screen interpretation in this movie depicting Edmond Dantes (Caviezel) betrayed and imprisoned, losing his reputation and the love of all his life; after 13 years spent in the gloomy casemates he breached of prison and plots the revenge. He managed the escape from a desolate island with the help of the fellow convict who assisted to dig the saving tunnel. Heavy thoughts of vengeance against the betrayers never left Edmond in peace; his loyal friend (Luis Guzman) helps him to penetrate into French royalty and Edmond's plans of revenge on the foes eventually incarnate into life.

Desmond Doyle is devastated when his wife abandons their family on the day after Christmas. His unemployment and the fact that there is no woman in the house to care for the children, Evelyn, Dermot and Maurice, make it clear to the authorities that his is an untenable situation.
