The action takes place at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago where evolutionary biologist Dr. Margo Green (Penelope Ann Miller) becomes interested in the contents of some crates sent from South America by her colleague, John Whitney (Lewis Van Bergen), who has mysteriously gone missing. Among the contents are strange tropical leaves containing a rare fungus. It becomes known that there was a series of gruesome murders on the cargo ship that brought the containers. Later, people start disappearing at the museum itself. Lt. Vincent D'Agosta (Tom Sizemore) assigned to investigate the mysterious events, couldn't have foreseen that he would have to face a living nightmare...
Based on a popular video game, this Japanese animated movie revolves around a family feud between a powerful and merciless tycoon, Heihachi Mishima (John Paul Shepard), and his son, Kazuya (Adam Dudley), whom he abandoned as a kid at the bottom of a deep ravine. When Heihachi organizes the Tekken Iron Fist Tournament on an isolated Chinese island and invites the world's most brutal fighters, his son, who managed to survive the pit, also arrives to participate in the contest. Kazuya is not interested in the prize of 1 billion dollars; all he cares about is taking revenge on his fierce father.
The United States is trying to help the New Russia in the war against organized crime in that country. Presently, they are after Terek Murad, a deadly crime boss. When they raid one of his establishments, Murad's brother is killed. Murad seeks revenge against the ones who killed his brother, FBI agent Carter Preston and Russian Major Valentina Koslova, but most of all, he wants to send a message to the Americans about interfering in matters that don't concern them, so he hires an international assassin to kill the head of the FBI. When the assassin advises Murad to go into hiding until the job is done, he does. Desperate to know what Murad is doing, Preston allows the Russians to abduct Murad's errand boy and torture him to find out, and he utters the word "Jackal" which Preston recognizes as the name of an international assassin. They have to find him but unfortunatly, there is noone who knows who he is except for one person, whom they have to find and the only person who knows where that person is, is Declan Mulqueen, an IRA man, who is in prison, they offer to reduce his sentence is he helps them but refuses because all he wants is to be freed, so they decide to leave but he tells them that he knows who the Jackal is. So they release him and together they try to find the Jackal before he makes his move which won't be easy because he is very wily.
One of the most successful roles of Johnny Depp is William Blake, a young accountant who arrived at the distant town to work at the doubtful manufacture having a one way ticket. At the very first evening he gets into a very disagreeable, Wild-West-style story, and now he has to go into hiding, being hunted down by three cutthroats who have the only purpose - to kill him and then to deliver to the powerful manufacture owner. Being on the run, he suddenly meets the strange Indian who call himself Nobody and offers William his help. This rather surrealistic, black-and-white metaphoric movie is very stylish and intricate at some points, but a severely DEPPressive one as the theme of the last journey of any human seems to be one of the main counterpoints of the picture. Also starring are Iggy Pop, Crispin Glover, Billy Bob Thornton and Lance Henricksen.

This whaked out anime short pulls out all the stops, making fun of every aspect of the story and filmmaking in general. Britain Dunham speaks like Arnold Schwarzenegger as "The Tinmanator" in this adaptation of the L. Frank Baum classic of the girl carried to a fantastic realm who must seek out the Wizard to get home. The Wizard here speaks just like Elmer Fudd.

LA and NY, Paris and Rome are the scenes where the stories about cities, culture, blind and seeing, life and death unroll. And the theme of man's abandonment develops in the snow-covered Helsinki.
Louie is a New York slum landlord who is given 120 days to repair one of his apartment blocks. The problem for Louie is that he must live in the rundown block until the repairs are complete. Louie's father is the real boss, and he has no intention of paying for the repairs. This leaves Louie to live in the squaller his tenants endure all year round.
