When Hank, Jacob and Lou find $4.4 million inside a crashed plane in a nature preserve, they quickly come up with the plan to keep the money safe until the plane has been found by others and the dust has settled. But Jacob, Hank's brother, and Lou, a friend, do not behave the way they decided to. Lou, constantly in financial debt, wants his share soon and Jacob wishes to renovate their parents' farm. The trusty atmosphere between the unequal partners dissolves slowly, and intrigues are spun. Also, accidents start happening and when an FBI agent comes into town, looking for a crashed plane, Hank and his partners get into very deep water... |

Negotiator is a person who is to conduct talks with a terrorists or another kind of criminals when hostages are taken. When a police negotiator Danny Roman (Samuel L. Jackson) standing on his own legs, one of the best negotiators in Chicago, is framed and faced the perspective of serving time for a murder he not committed, he has to take hostages. His friend is killed by corrupt cops, and the detractive documents are stealthily placed to defile Roman's reputation. When Inspector Terence Niebaum (J.T. Walsh) and his equally corrupted colleagues conduct a search in Roman's place of abode, he takes them as hostages and demands to talk with a negotiator who serves in another police precinct, because he knows that the killer of the friend is between his own counterparts. Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey), a high-skilled negotiator, is involved and all that Roman can do is to try to prove his innocence and to expose the real criminals. |

A former L.A. drug dealer (Thomas Jane) has moved to Houston to make a new life for himself as a married architect. Everything falls apart when he is suddenly visited by one of his former cohorts (Aaron Eckhart) who comes carrying heroin. Discovering the dope, the architect flushes it down the drain. This sets up a series of tough customers seeking the dope including a rasta hitman (Glenn Plummer), an ex-lover (Paulina Porizkova) who ties up and rapes James, a criminal (James LeGros) with a penchant for torture, and a rogue cop (Mickey Rourke). Michael Jeter also appears as a psychologist from an adoption agency where the couple is seeking to adopt a child. |

Peter Beaupre is the leader of a group of thieves who have stolen a valuable Air Force computer chip. When a bag mixup at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago causes Mrs. Hess, a grouchy old lady, to unknowingly take home the chip hidden inside of a toy remote control car, Beaupre and his followers Alice Ribbons, Earl Unger, and Burton Jernigan begin searching Mrs. Hess's neighborhood and breaking into houses searching for the chip. 8-year-old Alex Pruitt reports seeing Beaupre and his followers, but Alex's sister Molly, his brother Stan, and his parents Jack and Karen refuse to believe him. Beaupre and his followers figure out that the chip is in the Pruitt home, because Mrs. Hess has given the remote control car to Alex. Alex is left home alone with the chicken pox when Karen goes to work, Jack goes out of town on a business trip, and Molly and Stan go to school. When Beaupre and his followers break into the Pruitt house, Alex is ready with some of the most painful booby traps Beaupre and his gang will ever face. |

Unfortunately, the secret agent's free love credo taken from the 1960s doesn't seem to really work out with Vanessa...

This true story follows FBI agent Joe Pistone as he infiltrates the mafia of New York. Befriending Lefty Ruggiero, Pistone (under the name Donnie Brasco) is able to embed himself in a mafia faction lead by Sonny Black. Ruggiero and Pistone become tight as the group goes about collecting money for 'the bosses'. Eventually, the group become big time when Black himself becomes a boss, all the while Pistone collects evidence. However, the trials and tribulations of the undercover work become more than Pistone can bear. His marriage falls apart and to top it off, the mafia suspect a mole in the organization. The real dilemma is afforded to Pistone, who knows if he walks away from the mafia, Ruggiero will be the one punished. |

The United States is trying to help the New Russia in the war against organized crime in that country. Presently, they are after Terek Murad, a deadly crime boss. When they raid one of his establishments, Murad's brother is killed. Murad seeks revenge against the ones who killed his brother, FBI agent Carter Preston and Russian Major Valentina Koslova, but most of all, he wants to send a message to the Americans about interfering in matters that don't concern them, so he hires an international assassin to kill the head of the FBI. When the assassin advises Murad to go into hiding until the job is done, he does. Desperate to know what Murad is doing, Preston allows the Russians to abduct Murad's errand boy and torture him to find out, and he utters the word "Jackal" which Preston recognizes as the name of an international assassin. They have to find him but unfortunatly, there is noone who knows who he is except for one person, whom they have to find and the only person who knows where that person is, is Declan Mulqueen, an IRA man, who is in prison, they offer to reduce his sentence is he helps them but refuses because all he wants is to be freed, so they decide to leave but he tells them that he knows who the Jackal is. So they release him and together they try to find the Jackal before he makes his move which won't be easy because he is very wily. |

Bud White (Russel Crowe) and Ed Huxley (Guy Pearce) are LA cops in the 50s. These guys are so different that sometimes they even hate each other, but now they are to work together at the murder which should be solved at any cost. Wide LA beaches and the bright sun of California seems to be the perfect crime scene as the mafia bosses compete to occupy an empty place on the top of the criminal hierarchy after the main mafia boss was imprisoned to serve a long term. Kim Basinger appears in the film as a high-paid prostitute-blackmailer.

Sean Archer is a government agent who for six years has been trying to apprehend terrorist, Caster Troy, who tried to kill him but ended up killing Archer's son instead. When Archer corners Troy, Troy tells Archer that he has planted a bomb that will go off, unless he lets him go but Archer thinks that Troy is bluffing so a fight erupts that leaves Troy comatose. But later when they go through some of his brother, Pollux's things, they discover that Troy was telling the truth. All what they need now is to find out where it is and the only person who knows is Pollux. And the only person that he will talk to about it, is his brother, Caster but unfortunately he is a vegetable. A government official then suggests to Archer that he assume Caster's identity and ask Pollux about the bomb. So she brings him to a doctor who has perfected a method wherein the face of one individual is removed from him and placed on another. Archer agrees. The operation is a success so Archer as Troy goes to the prison where Pollux is being held and successfully gets him to tell him where the bomb is. Meanwhile, Troy who was believed to be comatose awakens and forces the doctor who operated on Archer to place Archer's face on him. He then goes to the prison as Archer and taunts Archer by telling him that he has destroyed all documentation of the operation and eliminated everyone who knew about it. He then takes his brother out and leaves Archer in prison. But Archer somehow manages to escape and is now trying to find someone who will believe and help him, while Troy is plotting something. |

After an AWAC crew has been held hostage by the North Koreans for six months, the U.S. President Jack Neil is about to give the order to attack the communistic country. Meantime, the nude corpse of a young female staffer is found in a White House restroom. Homicide detective Harlan Regis (Wesley Snipes) is assigned to investigate the murder. A cheerful, trustful and dare-devil criminal named Archie Moses makes friends with Rock Keats (Damon Wayans), unaware of his being an undercover cop, actually named Jack Carter, assigned to catch the ruthless drug lord Frank Colton (James Caan). Keats wins not only Archie's confidence but also his affection as he comes to his rescue in a fight. Archie graciously invites him to join Colton's gang and even get him involved in a multimillion-dollar drug smuggling operation. During the police raid, Carter is accidentally shot in the head by his best buddy who flees to Arizona. After recovering, Keats returns to his duties only to discover that Archie is arrested and agrees to turn state's evidence against the villainous drug king pin. But there is only one condition: he wants to be escorted to California by his former friend. Carter has nothing to do but to agree. Once friends and now bitter enemies, Moses and Carter, however, join forces when they find themselves pursued by violent assassins hired by the vengeful Colton. |
