A group of tenants in an apartment block are being forced to move out so that it can be demolished. The tenants are reluctant to move, so the developers hire a local gang to 'persuade' them to leave. Fortunately, visiting alien mechanical life-forms come to town. When they befriend the tenants, the aliens use their extraterrestrial abilities to defeat the developers.

As George Washington sends depressing messages describing one military disaster after another, the businessmen, landowners and slave holders in Congress all stand in the way of the Declaration, and a single "nay" vote will forever end the question of independence. Large portions of spoken and sung dialog are taken directly from the letters and memoirs of the actual participants.
The oceans during the late 1860-92s are no longer safe; many ships have been lost. This dark, but nonetheless sparkling comedy follows a vivid family which inhabits the dull, strange house. All horrors here are stylized and are not terrible at all - quite the contrary, all these vampires and other evil spirits who, in fact, respectively are the Addams family, can win your sympathies instead of expected fear.

Dave's college friend and record label executive, Ian Hawke, sees the talented chipmunks as the opportunity for personal gain and schemes to break up the family. When the sleazy mogul succeeds in doing that, he begins exploiting the rodents to the point of exhaustion.
