Introducing a brand new superhero—the beautiful and mighty Girl of Steel in her very first adventure. Her name is Kara, and she's Superman's cousin from Krypton. Coming to Earth on a mission to save her dying city, Supergirl has to find and recover the Omegahedron, a source of almost unlimited power. But it's fallen into the hands of an amateur witch named Selena—who intends to use it to rule the world! To get it back, Supergirl has to fight not only evil humans, but the unimaginable forces of Black Magic (including a hundred-foot monster made of pure energy), and make a perilous journey into the forbidden depths of the Phantom Zone.

A bag full of symbolic folklore about werewolves, or, rather, their sexual connotation. Granny tells her granddaughter Rosaleen strange, disturbing tales about innocent maidens falling in love with handsome, heavily eyebrowed strangers with a smoldering look in their eyes; about sudden disappearances of spouses when the moon is round & the wolves are howling in the woods; about babies found inside stork eggs, in a stork nest high up a tree; etc., etc. Of course the story of Little Red Ridinghood is also present, with a very handsome he-wolf! (And of course this he-wolf consumes Grandmother, but 'consumes' Little Red Ridinghood). All the stories are somehow reducible to loss of innocence, and fear of/hunger for (a newly acquired sense of) sexuality; their Freudian character is mirrored in their dreamlike shapes. This movie is not really a horror movie; it's more a multiple tale about growing up into adolescence.

The Empire is more than halfway through construction of a new Death Star - almost twice as big, but more than twice as powerful. When completed, it will spell certain doom for Luke Skywalker and the Rebels. Han Solo is a prisoner of crime lord Jabba the Hutt, and Princess Leia soon finds herself in the gangster's hands. Luke Skywalker, aided by C-3PO and R2-D2, makes his way into Jabba's palace, hoping to secure his friends' freedom. But the Hutt has no intention of doing so and tries to kill them all. After escaping from Jabba and the sands of Tatooine, they regroup with the Rebel fleet, which is massing for an attack against the new satellite battle station at Endor. Lando Calrissian is pressed into action to lead the Rebel fighter attack, while Han is put in charge of a group of soldiers to take out the shield generator protecting the Death Star. Luke, however, surrenders to Vader's soldiers on Endor, and is taken in front of Vader's boss - the Galactic Emperor - on the Death Star for final corruption to the Dark Side of the Force. The fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers ambushes the Rebels, cutting them off. Worse, the new Death Star begins turning its giant laser on the Rebel carriers. It appears that nothing will stop the Empire's triumph - unless things start to change quickly...

The once-beautiful planet Krull falls a victim to the all-powerful, formidable monster, The Beast (voiced by Trevor Martin), and his vile cohorts, the Slayers. Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall), the son of King Turlord (Tony Church), and Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony), the daughter of King Eirig (Bernard Archard), make up their mind to marry and thus unite their rival kingdoms into a cohesive whole against the villainous invaders. Both kings and their numerous armies are murdered and the castle lies devastated. The courageous Prince and his companions, Ergo the Magician (David Battley), Emerald the Seer (John Welsh), Titch (Graham McGrath), Rell the Cyclops (Bernard Bresslaw), and Torquil (Alun Armstrong), the leader of a band of ten escaped convicts, set off in search of the fortress to rescue his bride from the jaws of the gruesome monster.

Based on the Stephen King's horror novel, the movie follows Arnie Cunningham (Keith Gordon), an unpopular school guy, who buys an old car and gets completely obsessed with it. While repairing and restoring his beloved 'Christine' he forgets about his friends. Little by little Arnie is seized by paranoia. His friends think they should distract him from the car but Christine has an opposite opinion...

Lowlife cable TV operator Max Renn discovers a "snuff TV" broadcast called Videodrome. But Videodrome is more than a TV show - it's an experiment that uses regular TV transmissions to permanently alter the viewer's perceptions by giving them brain damage. Max is caught in the middle of the forces that created Videodrome and the forces that want to control it, his body itself turning into the ultimate weapon to fight them.

Once Johnny wakes up, he discovers he has the ability to read a person's life just by making physical contact with them. When the local police find out about Johnny's "powers", they bring him in on a murder case. Soon Johnny's abilities gets him into more trouble then he may be able to handle.

Four horror/science-fiction segments directed by four of Hollywood's famous directors based on TV's most popular anthology series, bookened by a funny and scary prologue and epilogue featuring Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks. In the first story directed by John Landis (a vague remake of the Twilight Zone episode "A Quality of Mercy") a loud-mouthed bigotted businessman (Vic Morrow) with an intense hatred for Jews, blacks, and Asians, gets the tables turned on him when he walks out a bar and is inexplicably transported back in time to being pursued by Nazis in 1940's France, then as an African-American at a KKK rally in the 1950s Deep South, and as a Vietnamese in 1960s Vietnam. The second story directed by Stephen Spielberg (a remake of 'Kick the Can') an old man (Scatman Crothers) arrives at a retirement home and makes the wishes of the residents come true when he magically transforms them into youthful incarnations of their days gone by. The third story directed by Joe Dante (a remake of 'It's a Good Life') a young woman on the road (Kathleen Quinlan) gives a ride to a mysterous 10-year-old boy (Jeremy Licth) to his house and ends up trapped with other people in an alternate reality created by the boy's imagination. The fourth story directed by George Miller (a remake of 'Nightmare at 20,000 Feet) stars John Lithgow as an passenger on an airline whom sees, but cannot convince anyone, a mysterious creature on the outside wing of the airplane trying to sabotage the aircraft.

The Monty Python group examines the meaning and purpose of life in a series of sketches from conception to death and beyond. In typical Monty Python fashion they satirizes and humourizes almost everyone.

While visiting the Earth at Night, a group of alien botanists is discovered and disturbed by an approaching human task force. Fortunately, the extra-terrestrial soon finds a friend and emotional companion in 10-year-old Elliot, who discovered him looking for food in his family's garden shed. While E.T. slowly gets acquainted with Elliot's brother Michael, his sister Gertie as well as with Earth customs, members of the task force work day and night to track down the whereabouts of Earth's first visitor from Outer Space. The wish to go home again is strong in E.T., and after being able to communicate with Elliot and the others, E.T. starts building an improvised device to send a message home for his folks to come and pick him up. But before long, E.T. gets seriously sick, and because of his special connection to Elliot, the young boy suffers, too. The situation gets critical when the task force finally intervenes. By then, all help may already be too late, and there's no alien spaceship in sight.

Cult classic anthology from two of horrors big wigs, Romero and Stephen King, the film contains 5 sections, held together with 50's style comic images. A murdered man returns from the grave demanding his Father's Day cake and death ensues, a meteor's space ooze causes anything and anyone that comes in contact with it to grow (special appearance by Stephen King himself), a scheming vengeful husband buries his wife and her lover in sand to await death at high tide, a professor selects his nagging negative wife to become a tasty snack for a strange crated creature, and finally, a mean ole millionaire with an intense insect phobia becomes the prey of an army of cockroaches.

Wordless (save for the song "Walking in the Air") animated adventure about a young English boy who makes a snowman one Christmas Eve, only for it to come to life that night and take him on a magical adventure to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus.

A fieldmouse named Mrs. Brisby must move her family to a safe location before the farmer plows the field where they live, but her invalid son Timmy cannot go outside due to his pneumonia. She enlists the aid of some highly intelligent, escaped lab rats that have built a subterranean society inside a rose bush near the farmer's garden. The rats, led by the wise Nicodemus, decide to help her physically move her house to repay a debt of gratitude to her late husband, who made possible the rats' escape from the laboratory. But things become complicated when some of the rats decide to use the situation to kill Nicodemus and make it appear to be accidental.

A brave unicorn and a magician fight an evil king who is obsessed with attempting to capture the world's unicorns.

As the title would suggest, it follows the travels of the legendary sword Excalibur through Arthurian myth, from the violent, powerful hands of Uther Pendragon, to a long-years' rest in the stone to being redrawn by Uther's son Arthur, who uses it to defeat the evil invaders and establish the great court of Camelot and the great Knights of the Round Table. It is there in Arthur's glory years and in his decline, brought on by the love affair between his wife Guenevere and best friend and best knight Sir Lancelot, the Holy Grail Quest which produces many casualties among the knights, and the arrival of Mordred, the son Arthur had by his evil half-sister, the sorceress Morgana. Through it all, the magician Merlin watches over everything, always ready to throw in a Charm of Making when it's called for.

The creepy thriller follows five teenage friends, Ash (Bruce Campbell), his girlfriend Linda (Betsy Baker), and their classmates Shelly (Sarah York, Scott (Hal Delrich) and Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), who venture to travel to an abandoned mountain cabin in the impassable woods of Tennessee. Once there, they stumble upon the Book of the Dead, and a reel-to-reel tape recorder belonging to a professor of archaeology. Playing back the professor's recorded incantations, the kids unwittingly resurrect dormant demons from the depths of the woods. One by one, the youngsters are transformed into the evil dead and start hacking each other to pieces. Only Ash is left intact to battle the evil spirits.

There is a serial killer on the loose, Karen White is the only reporter he communicates with. After a near fatal encounter with him at a Pussycat Theater, she is ordered to take a vacation. Eddie was killed by Police, but Karen doesn't want to let it go and discovers that he came from a tiny community in the woods and that's where she decides to vacation with boyfriend Chris. Big mistake, because Eddie was an outcast of a pack of Werewolves who is trying to keep a low profile and doesn't want any interviews. Can Karen and Chris escape the village of the wolf?
