Friday the 13th part 3 once again follows the crazed Jason Voorhees, who as a child drowned off the waters of Crystal Lake. Is there anyone that can put an end to Jason's murderous rampage?

Dr. Dan Challis investigates a series of bizarre and horrifying incidents that begin to unfold before Halloween evening, and he comes face to face with the sinister figure of Conal Conhran, maker of the evil masks.

The creepy thriller follows five teenage friends, Ash (Bruce Campbell), his girlfriend Linda (Betsy Baker), and their classmates Shelly (Sarah York, Scott (Hal Delrich) and Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), who venture to travel to an abandoned mountain cabin in the impassable woods of Tennessee. Once there, they stumble upon the Book of the Dead, and a reel-to-reel tape recorder belonging to a professor of archaeology. Playing back the professor's recorded incantations, the kids unwittingly resurrect dormant demons from the depths of the woods. One by one, the youngsters are transformed into the evil dead and start hacking each other to pieces. Only Ash is left intact to battle the evil spirits.

David (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne), two regular American students, travel across England. Suddenly they get attacked by a Werewolf, who kills Jack. David remains alive, though his future could be worse than death. Jack's ghost visits David in a dream and urges him to commit suicide before the full moon rises because the Werewolf continues his life in David's blood and is waiting for the moment to show up.

A year afterward, Harry Warden - the only survivor of the accident - retaliated by killing the two supervisors, and leaving a terrifying warning never to hold another Valentine's Day dance. Now, a group of young adults decides to hold another dance, despite warnings. When a blood-soaked heart arrives at the police station, accompanied by an ominous message, the dance is canceled. But a Valentine party is held in its place... at the coal mine, and it isn't long before the town's young people begin dying violently. It appears Harry Warden has returned to punish those who did not heed his warning...

Potters Bluff, Rhode Island. may seem to be a sleepy little town. At least for the casual visitor and the local sheriff, Daniel Gillis. However, all of a sudden, there are a lot of strange murders where strangers or people passing through are killed by mobs of townspeople. Only Sheriff Gillis has no clue to what's going on. Fortunately, the town has an excellent undertaker, William G. Dobbs, who is happy to take care of this sudden death-wave which is good for his business. Gillis soon discovers clues that lead to many of the local inhabitants involved in the killings, including his own wife Janet.

Five campers arrive in the mountains to examine some property they have bought, but are warned by the forest ranger Roy McLean that a huge machete-wielding maniac has been terrorising the area. Ignoring the warnings, they set up camp, and start disappearing one by one. If that sounds too run-of-the-mill, there's a genuinely shocking plot twist half-way through...

The movie starts off with the survivor of Part I being killed, and it flashes forward five years to a new camp that has been opened across the lake from the infamous "Camp Blood" (Crystal Lake). This time the killer is Jason Voorhees, who is in mourning for his mother. Again, the counselors are killed one by one.

Before being able to join Alpha Sigma Rho fraternity and its sister sorority, four pledges must spend the night in Garth Manor, twelve years to the day after the previous resident murdered his entire family. Some, however, say that one member of the Garth family survived, and still resides somewhere in the now-deserted mansion.
