Lama Norbu comes to Seattle in search of the reincarnation of his dead teacher, Lama Dorje. His search leads him to young Jesse Conrad, Raju, a waif from Kathmandu, and an upper class Indian girl. Together, they journey to Bhutan where the three children must undergo a test to prove which is the true reincarnation. Interspersed with this, is the story of Siddharta, later known as the Buddha. It traces his spiritual journey from ignorance to true enlightenment.

Shaken and confused, emotionally vulnerable Tracy finds herself became tangled with the criminal boss Bradley "The Jockey" Thompson (Sam Neill). How she can learn to love again when the pain of the past ain't letting her go?

Lou Costello plays a country bumpkin vacuum-cleaner salesman, working for the company run by the crooked Bud Abbott. To try to keep him under his thumb, Abbott convinces Costello that he's a crackerjack salesman. This comedy is somewhat like "The Time of Their Lives," in that Abbott and Costello don't have much screen time together and there are very few vaudeville bits woven into the plot.

Loosely based on a '50's movie of the same name, it tells the story of two young orphan boys who travel by themselves from the Old country to join their father's family in Canada. There they encounter their stern disciplinarian grandfather who has alienated himself from some of his neighbors. There is particularly no love lost between the grandfather and his Dutch neighbors, who he generalizes as being responsible for his son's death in the Boor War. A side product of this animosity is that it is keeping apart the boy's aunt and her Dutch doctor suitor. The two boys change everything though when they find a young baby on the beach...

After the death of her father, Little Voice or LV becomes a virtual recluse, never going out and hardly ever saying a word. When a Senator is killed in an explosion, the FBI investigates. The agent in charge is Danny O'Neill, who is separated from his wife and behaving very erratic. Initially the investigation doesn't reveal what kind of explosive or even what was used to detonate it. And it doesn't help that they have to report Senator Traveres, the man whom O'Neill's wife has been seen with and whom he also assaulted. After another Senator is killed, his driver who was responsible is caught and brought on trial. At his hearing another explosion occurs after the judge drinks some water.
