Unwilling to wait that long, the heroes decide to steal what they think will help them achieve their grandiose goal — a magical guitar pick belonging to a rock & roll-themed museum located not far from their hometown. Mac Mckussic is an unlikely drug dealer who wants to go straight. His old and best friend Nick Frescia is now a cop who is assigned to investigate and bring him to justice. Mac is very attracted to Jo Ann, the owner of a stylish restaurant. Nick gets close to Jo Ann attempting to know more about Mac's drug dealing plans and his connections with the Mexican dealer Carlos, who the police believe is coming to town to meet with him. When Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) arrives at the NY airport, he finds himself a citizen of a non-existing country as the tiny European commonwealth where he lived disappeared after the military coup-d-etat. Thus, as he has nowhere to return and the USA can not let him in, the last and the best thing he can think out is to live in the airport until his legal status become apparent. The situation is complicated by lack of Navorski language knowledge, and an airport official, Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci), who considers Viktor a problem he can't control but still desperately wants to take him off the hands. In the last movie a cyborg was sent from the future to kill Sarah Connor, but he failed. Now a much more powerful one sent from the future to kill Sarah's son - John Connor, the leader of the future rebels. A terminator was send from the future once more, but this time to protect Connor. The only problem is that the terminator who was send to kill Connor is much more powerful and clever than the one who was send to protect him. Moreover, none can help Connor, since they do not believe in robots. Now Connor and his protector has no choice but to survive on their own. |

In the second part of the saga, John Connor (Nick Stahl) helped to prevent Judgment Day and keep the human race from mass destruction. Since then Connor has been living on the run having no cell phone, no credit cards and no job. Two terminators are once again sent back through time: a female Terminator, the T-X (Kristanna Loken), is anxious to kill John and a reprogrammed T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), his former assassin, has a mission to protect him and his future wife, Kate Brewster (Claire Danes), in the upcoming lethal battle. The liquid metal-based Terminatrix has a right arm that transforms into different weapons; she can take on the form of other people and even become invisible. The entire movie takes place in a small suburban town outside San Francisco. After the nuclear attack, contact with the outside world is pretty much cut off. |

Miss Marple is invited to London to see her old friend Ruth. Miss Marple was a sort of traveling companion to Ruth and her sister, Carrie Louise. Ruth is worried about Carrie Louise. She doesn't know why, though. Ruth asks Miss Marple to come with her to her sister's estate, Stonygates. Stonygates is a huge manor house, and some of the buildings and the grounds are used by Carrie Louises' current husband, Lewis, as a reformatory for juvenile criminals. Miss Marple meets the people who live there - Carrie Louise's grand-daughter Gina and her malcontent American husband Walter; Stephen and Alex Restarick, Carrie Louise's stepsons by her first marriage; Edgar Lawson, Lewis' mentally unstable secretary; and Carrie Louise's daughter, Mildred, who is jealous of Gina. Soon, Carrie Louise's stepson by her second marriage shows up. He is Christian Guldbrandsen, and he runs the trust which contributes a fraction of the funds used to run Stonygates. He and Lewis talk in private. Later that night, Edgar begins waving a gun around and ranting that Lewis is his father. Lewis takes him to his office where the argument becomes even more heated. After a few minutes, two shots are heard, and then hysterical crying. The door opens to reveal Lewis, unhurt. Edgar missed him. However, the body of Christian Guldbrandsen is discovered, shot. Miss Marple sets out to find the murderer before it is too late for her good friend Carrie Louise. |
