The town whores just try to get by.Then a couple of cowboys cut up a whore. Unsatisfied with Bill's justice, the prostitutes put a bounty on the cowboys. The bounty attracts a young gun billing himself as 'The Schofield Kid', and aging killer William Munny. Munny reformed for his young wife, and has been raising crops and two children in peace. But his wife is gone. Farm life is hard. And Munny is no good at it. So he calls his old partner Ned, saddles his ornery nag, and rides off to kill one more time, blurring the lines between heroism and villainy, man and myth. |

Five unshaven men come to their senses in a dusty warehouse. One (Joe Pantoliano) is bound to a chair, while another (Greg Kinnear) is lying on the floor with a broken nose. The third (Jeremy Sisto) is handcuffed to a pipe and dying from a gunshot injury. A man in a jean jacket (Jim Caviezel) and a man in a rancher shirt (Barry Pepper) are roughed up but alive. A broken cellular phone, a spade and a gun are kicking about on the floor. No one remembers who they are and what they are doing there. But soon the five unknown men deductively derive a conclusion that they are all part of a kidnapping. The problem is that they can’t tell the hostages from the kidnappers. |

Once upon a time there lived a young woman named Molly Gunn (Brittany Murphy). When her father who was a popular rock-n-roll musician died in a plane crash with Molly's mother, she came into possession of a large fortune. Molly led a hectic social life as if she were a princess in a fairy tale. All she could do was go partying, go shopping at trendy boutiques and look down on bachelors who dreamt of dating her. But one day the fairy tale came to an end when her accountant vanished with all her money. Molly dashed off into the conviction that the only thing to do was to find a job. After a few failed attempts she eventually took a job as a nanny for a nine-year-old girl, Lorraine "Ray" Schleine (Dakota Fanning), whose overbusy executive mother, Roma Schleine (Heather Locklear), neglected her parental duties. The childlike Molly and the precocious Ray developed a warm friendship and began teaching each other how to act their age. |

After a waterfront explosion, Verbal (Kevin Spacey), an eye-witness and participant tells the story of events leading up to the conflagration. The story begins when five men are rounded up for a line-up, and grilled about a truck hijacking (the usual suspects). Least pleased is Keaton (Gabriel Byrne) a crooked cop - exposed, indicted, but now desperately trying to go straight. The cops won't leave him alone, however, and as they wait for their lawyers to post bail, he is talked into doing one more job with the other four. All goes tolerably well until the influence of the legendary, seemingly omnipotent "Keyser Soze" is felt. Although set in the modern day, it has much of the texture of the forties, plus suspense, intrigue (a fairly high body count), and lots of twists in the plot. |
