Plot Summary:
If you loved Unforgiven and 3:10 to Yuma, you must watch this western based on the 2005 novel by Robert B. Parker. Set in the American West of 1882, Appaloosa tells the story of lawman Virgil Cole (Ed Harris) and his deputy Everett Hitch (Viggo Mortensen), two friends, who arrive in the small mining town of Appaloosa in order to protect its people from a ruthless rancher, Randall Bragg (Jeremy Irons). Their noble efforts seem to collapse and friendship cruelly tested as of a beautiful widowed woman (Renée Zellweger) appears on the scene.
