Plot Summary:
Detective Nick Curren (Michael Douglas), conducting the criminal investigation of a rock star murder, is to interrogate the suspect - Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone), the woman writer who is a famous authoress of her shocking novels. She is blonde, bisexual, seductive, suspective and obviously dangerous - as well as invulnerable to all attempts to accuse her of the murder. But one of her novels contains the description of the same murder. Besides, Tramell was a lover of the killed guy, and what is more, his breathless body was found on the bed which was evidently a place of a hot sexual battle. Curren finds himself slowly involved into the web of Catherine's intrigue; he can only guess at her guilt. Is he doomed to be the hero of her next novel? The soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith completes the striking thriller.
