Nick is drowned in the bosom of the sea, Libby is sent to prison on a murder rap, their 4-year-old son Matty (Benjamin Weir) is adopted by Libby’s friend, Angie (Annabeth Gish), who unexpectedly disappears with the kid. Libby seems to have had all the trials and troubles one must have. But this is not the case. While serving prison time, Libby discovers the awful truth that she was faked by her own hubby who is actually safe and sound and lives in clover. Knowing that she won’t be twice imprisoned for the same criminal offense she makes up her mind to take revenge on Nicholas. Therefore, when she is paroled six years later, Libby straightway escapes from a halfway house to find her missing son and her treacherous husband.
