Plot Summary:
Based on Chris Miller's short story, this highly imaginative comedy focuses on Doug Kinney (Michael Keaton), an overworked, extremely exhausted family man who desperately struggle to cope with his household chores and career. One day his adoring wife Laura (Andie MacDowell) says that she wants to return to work and he sometimes will have to stay home with their child, Jennifer (Katie Schlossberg). Doug feels really depressed because he has scarcely time to perform his numerous responsibilities properly, to say nothing of relaxing and indulging in speculation. But fortune smiles upon him and he meets amazing geneticist Dr. Owen Leeds (Harris Yulin) who offers him an unusual yet attractive solution to his problems - cloning.
