Plot Summary:
Dewey Finn’s (Jack Black) brilliant career as a rock star ends in dead failure. Fired from his own band and faced with unsettled debts and deep depression, Dewey pretends to be his roommate Ned Schneebly (Mike White) and accepts substitute-teaching position at a private school.
