In 1958, four top Air Force pilots from Team Daedalus, Frank Corvin (Clint Eastwood), William Hawkins (Tommy Lee Jones), Jerry O'Neill (Donald Sutherland) and Reverend Sullivan (James Garner), were ready to be the first Americans in space.
