Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern play a pair of lovers who think they're wild at heart on the run in David Lynch's surrealist road movie. Their horizons are constituted by little more than TV, and their romance sets them off on the way to sunny California. Cage's Sailor Ripley is a violent ex-con. Dern's Lula Pace Fortune, is the daughter of a rich, but mentally unstable mother. Lula's mother hates Sailor and sends for them a cop and a hitman. Along their intricate trip, Sailor and Lula have a lot of sex, relate the events of their past to date, share their obsessions for Elvis, and meet a lot of grotescue characters. Movie's atmosphere is rather typical for Lynch. |

Vivian Ward has found a way of living by working as a prostitute on Hollywood Boulevard. When she runs into the prince of her dreams, who comes along on his wild horse, she first does not recognize him as her saviour. The prince, a ruthless and wealthy businessman by the name of Edward Lewis, does not know that she could be more than just a girl from the sidewalk, but he changes his decision after the first night with the beautiful stranger. Both Brian & Doug Coughlin want their own top class cocktail bars someday and Brian's Cocktail Bar is to be called 'Cocktails & Dreams', and in order to get the necessary money to open it, Brian travels to Jamaica to work as a bartender at a resort Tiki Bar, and the pay is good. There he meets Jordan Mooney (Elisabeth Shue), a young and pretty, up and coming American artist on vacation with her girlfriend from New York, staying at the Island resort. Jordan and Brian spend some quality time together and fall in love. But when Brian takes a dare from his old buddy, Doug Coughlin to sleep with an older woman, who is also staying at the resort. Jordan, herself the daughter of wealthy parents back in New York, leaves the Island overnight, after seeing Brian and the older woman together after closing...
