WAVERIDERS is the previously untold story of the unlikely Irish roots of the worldwide surfing phenomenon and today's pioneers of Irish big wave surfing. The story unfolds via the inspirational and ultimately tragic history of Irish/Hawaiian legendary waterman, George Freeth. Freeth, son of an Irishman, was responsible for the rebirth of this sport of Hawaiian kings in the early twentieth century. With its distinguished cast of world-renowned Irish, British and Irish/American surfers WAVERIDERS then journeys full-circle from Hawaii to California and back to Irish shores following Freeth's wave of influence. This journey reaches a spectacular climax when the surfers conquer the biggest swell ever to have been ridden in Ireland catching monster waves of over fifty feet.

The movie tells the inspiring story of Brooklyn teenage boxer Izzy Daniels (Corbin Bleu) who devotes most of his time to perfecting his skills in the gym because his father Kennith (David Reivers), a golden-glove champion, wants the boy to follow in his footsteps. But when his friend, Mary Thomas (Keke Palmer), asks him to replace a fourth team member in a Double Dutch competition, he unexpectedly discovers a knack for jump roping which he has never noticed before. While practicing, Izzy feels that he begins to love the sport, and realizes that it’s much more important to follow his heart and pursue his own dream. Thus he makes up his mind to exchange his boxing gloves for a jump rope.

When figure-skating rivals Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) get into a fight on the awards platform at the 2002 World Winter Sport Games, they are stripped of their gold medals and banned for life from men's single competition. Not willing to accept the end of their brilliant careers, they manage to find a loophole in the sport rules that allows them to return to professional sports. All they have to do is to overcome enmity towards each other and join forces as the first male-male pairs team in the history of the sport.

When superstar rap mogul C-Note (Big Boi) wants to gain admittance to a prestigious golf club to honor his dad who once worked as a caddy there, he unexpectedly meets with a flat refusal from its snobbish president, Mr. Cummings (Jeffrey Jones). Yet, C-Note is prepared to go to any length to achieve his goal. He purchases an estate adjacent to the club's 17th hole which he is willing to exchange for a membership. Of course, such neighbors as the rap artist and his numerous fun-loving buddies are a damn plague for the snooty members of the club who are about to give up the battle...

He gets a chance to recapture his former glory when he is recruited by FBI Agent Ernie Rodriguez (George Lopez) to partake in an underground Ping-Pong tournament held under the aegis of a crime figure, Feng (Christopher Walken), his father's killer.

This uplifting family comedy concerns Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson), a wealthy and popular NFL quarterback who happily lives his carefree single life. His hugely self-absorbed existence is drastically changed by an 8-year-old precocious girl named Peyton Kelly (Madison Pettis) who appears out of the blue, claiming to be his daughter from a former marriage. An egoistical, fun- and party-loving bachelor, he reluctantly accepts the duty of taking care of Peyton and eventually becomes the loving dad the girl craves.

Erik (Josh Hartnett), a sport writer whose texts don't seem to be popular, encounters a homeless man, Champ (Samuel L. Jackson), who turns out to be a legend boxer of past years.
