Talented rookie race-car driver Jimmy Bly has started losing his focus and begins to slip in the race rankings. It's no wonder, with the immense pressure being shoveled on him by his overly ambitious promoter brother as well as Bly's romance with his arch rival's girlfriend Sophia. With much riding on Bly, car owner Carl Henry brings former racing star Joe Tanto on board to help Bly. To drive Bly back to the top of the rankings, Tanto must first deal with the emotional scars left over from a tragic racing accident which nearly took his life.

In the mid-70s, surfers from Venice-Santa Monica who hung out at the Zephyr Surf Shop would skateboard when the surf was quiet. Over the course of a few heady years, riding on polyurethane wheels and copying the surfing moves of Larry Bertleman, the Z-Boys invent and polish their style on a hilly street near the shop, on the asphalt slopes ringing school playgrounds, and then in swimming pools empty during California's drought. The Z-Boys astound upright skateboarders at the 1975 championship in Del Mar. Within a year, the team splinters as some players join better financed pro teams. The film ends with profiles of the stars, Jay Adams, Stacy Peralta, and Tony Alva.

Rannulph Junnah is the best golfer in Savannah. He's living well and has a girl, Adele Invergordon, who's the daughter of a wealthy landowner. The First World War starts, though, and Junnah goes to Europe to fight. The only survivor of a dangerous mission, Junnah doesn't return to Savannah for 15 years. In 1930, he returns, and Adele's father has already committed suicide during the Depression. Pressured by tax collectors to sell the golf course her father built to pay off debts, Adele, now older, vows to bring to Savannah the greatest match ever played on the greatest golf course, her late father's. She's able to round up the 2 greatest golfers of their time, Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen to play for $10,000. The townspeople insist on having "one of their own" compete also, and Rannulph Junnah is rounded up. Junnah now hangs out with bums and is an alcoholic, as he has lost his authentic swing from 15 years ago. At first he turns down the offer. He gets his old clubs and balls and starts practicing. He has lost his ability. Suddenly, Bagger Vance shows up. He offers to be Junnahs's caddy and help him regain his "authentic swing". He does, and Junnah agrees to play in the big match.

Shortly before the playoffs, the Washington Sentinels and their cheerleaders have gone on strike for more money. To put their nose out, the owner of the NFL football team, Edward O'Neil (Jack Warden), brings in self-retired head coach Jimmy McGinty (Gene Hackman) to hire a team of substitute players. The replacement team is comprised of Daniel Bateman (Jon Favreau), a violent SWAT leader; Clifford Franklin (Orlando Jones), an ex-convict, who can outrun bit can't catch a football; Nigel 'The Leg' Gruff (Rhys Ifans), a Welsh soccer player who can kick a soccerball the full length of the playing field; Jahmal Abdul Jackson (Faizon Love) and André Action Jackson (Michael Taliferro), stout gangster rapper brothers; Jumbo Fumiko (Ace Yonamine), a Japanese sumo wrestler. Among them is Shane Falco (Keanu Reeves), a former Ohio State quarterback who has to become the ragtag team's captain. Charming blonde Annabelle Farrell (Brooke Langton), the head cheerleader, assembles a group of former strippers to encourage the replacements and kindle their fighting spirit. "Glory lasts forever, " Falco says to his team players. His plan of the game seems to be flawless. Their power is their unpredictability...

Denzel Washington is hired as the T.C. Williams High football coach over a white coach in Alexandria, Virginia in the early 1970's during a time when the school has just been integrated to allow blacks into the school.

An aging football coach finds himself struggling with his personal and professional life while trying to hold his team together. He is forced to work for a rival college team, and his new coach, Klein (Henry Winkler), makes a surprising discovery that the water boy can run and tackle like no one he has ever seen. The wise coach signs him as a new player and Bobby soon becomes the best linebacker in the history of college football. But he has to keep his glory a secret from his overbearing mom as she disapproves of football.

Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop & Remer (Parker & Stone), invent a new game playing basketball, using baseball rules. When the game becomes a huge success, they, along with a billionaire's help, form the Professional Baseketball League where everyone gets the same pay and no team can change cities. Coop & Remer's team, the Milwaukee Beers is the only team standing in the way of major rule changes that the owner of the Dallas Felons (Vaughn) wants to institute.

Swackhammer, owner of the amusement park planet Moron Mountain is desperate get new attractions and he decides that the Looney Tune characters would be perfect. He sends his diminutive underlings to get them to him, whether Bugs Bunny & Co. want to go or not. Well armed for their size, Bugs Bunny is forced to trick them into agreeing to a competition to determine their freedom. Taking advantage of their puny and stubby legged foes, the gang selects basketball for the surest chance of winning. However, the Nerdlucks turn the tables and steal the talents of leading professional basketball stars to become massive basketball bruisers known as the Monstars. In desperation, Bugs Bunny calls on the aid of Micheal Jordan, the Babe Ruth of Basketball, to help them have a chance at winning their freedom.

Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) was raised to be the best bowler in the world (trained early on by his father). But a fellow bowler, Ernie McCracken (Bill Murray) and a misunderstanding with some rough punks, leaves poor Roy with the loss of his bowling hand! Not to let this get him down, he gets a prosthetic hand and becomes a traveling sales man. But it's really all down hill for him from that night on until ... One day he meets Ishmael (Randy Quaid) who's a Quaker that sneaks away from the farm to bowl (his fellow Quakers would disown him if they knew)! Roy convinces Ishmael to let him be his trainer and he'll make him the best bowler the world has ever seen. Reluctantly Ismael agrees to go on the road and shortly afterwards actually finds that life outside the farm is quite fun. Soon their paths cross that of Ernie McCracken who is still top ranking bowler. While Roy's career and life have landed in the toilet bowl, Ernie is still drawing huge crowds and all the babes! They both square off for the untimate bowling championship ... to see which one truly IS the champion. To find that out you'll have to see this funny and original movie. Bill Murray is at his best, since Caddyshack. Randy Quaid makes some daring choices that really work and Woody Harrelson brings us the comdey style from "Cheers" that made him a household name!

He is approached by Scott (Cole Hauser), a member of a group of racist skinheads, who believe that Remy is a perfect candidate to help carry out his group's violent goals.
