A group of social rejects enters a dodgeball tournament in Las Vegas against an all-star team led by Ben Stiller's character after their neighborhood "Average Joe's" gymnasium is threatened with a corporate takeover. White Goodman (Ben Stiller), a gleaming sports and fitness palace owner sends in attorney Kate Veach (Christine Taylor) to finalize the deal. An underachiever Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughn) owns that run-down gymnasium which has a clientele to be ashamed of; if he won't pay $50,000 as a mortgage payment, it will be impossible to save the gym. Peter and his friends put themselves into trying to win a high-stakes dodgeball tournament. Meanwhile, unfortunately for the sports tycoon, Peter's charms win his attorney Kate over and she helps him try to beat the odds and save the gym.

Ali trained six days a week and was soon really good at running, skipping and, of course, boxing. In 1964 Clay converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. The movie depicts his rise and fall in sports and politics, including forfeiture of his boxing license and championship title for his principled refusal to serve in the military during the Vietnam War and his comeback battles against Joe Frazier and George Foreman.

She's able to round up the 2 greatest golfers of their time, Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen to play for $10,000. The townspeople insist on having "one of their own" compete also, and Rannulph Junnah is rounded up. Junnah now hangs out with bums and is an alcoholic, as he has lost his authentic swing from 15 years ago. At first he turns down the offer. He gets his old clubs and balls and starts practicing. He has lost his ability. Suddenly, Bagger Vance shows up. He offers to be Junnahs's caddy and help him regain his "authentic swing". He does, and Junnah agrees to play in the big match.
