Can you imagine a near-future world? The time is out of joint: it's July, 2021, but snow falls in New York City, people freeze in Uganda, gravity loses its power in Africa. Despite world-wide chaos John (Joaquin Phoenix), a Polish academic on his way to Calgary, stops in New York to meet his wife Elena (Claire Danes), a world-famous figure skater, in order to get a divorce. But when John arrives at Elena's hotel, he realizes that something is wrong. John soon discovers that Elena and her staff have a secret — David (Alun Armstrong), her manager, has cloned Elena with the intention of killing her as soon as her talent finally runs short. They are soon on the run from David and his mates. Is there a corner of the world where they can seek shelter to keep themselves safe and sound? |

A luxurious cruise liner sets sail on its maiden voyage with many rich passengers. When sailing through the South China Sea, the ship is unexpectedly boarded by a gang of armed bandits, led by Hanover (Wes Studi), to grab jewellery and money. The mercenaries, who have taken the crew hostage, are utterly shocked to find the shattered remnants of the party and no passengers in sight. The fact is that the sea vessel has collided with a gigantic underwater object shortly before the intruders board the liner. The unknown object turns out to be a formidable sea monster which sucks the water from its preys, leaving only their skeletons. Among survivors is a gorgeous pickpocket, Trillian Jamesen (Famke Janssen), who is caught red-handed and locked up in the safe room, and the liner owner, Simon Canton (Anthony Heald). Thus begins a struggle for survival. The pirates were armed to the teeth but there are only three of them. |

John Rambo who is now in prison after the ruckus he caused in the previous movie, is approached by his former superior, Colonel Trautman. It seems that the government's looking for American MIA's in Vietnam, that are still being held there. Now the man in charge of the mission, Murdock, tells Rambo that his job is to go in, confirm their presence by taking photographs. Rambo senses that Murdock is not what he seems. Rambo goes in takes the photographs, but also takes one of the prisoners with him. When Murdock learns of this, he orders the chopper that's suppose to pick him up to pull out. Rambo is then captured. Obviously Murdock's desire was not to find anyone. Trautman warns him that Rambo's going to come after him. And that's what Rambo's going to do but first he is going after the Vietnamese and Russians, who brutalized him. |

But Joe wasn’t safe at the facility for long as the very same hunter, Andrei Strasser (Rade Serbedzija), appeared with the nefarious intention of stealing and selling Joe on the black market.
