After learning that she has cancer and mere a few months left to live, Susan Morton (Nancy Travis) makes up her mind to move with her12-year-old daughter, Carson (Jamie Renee Smith), from Chicago to California where her ex-husband Peter lives. But Peter and his new wife refuse to take custody of Carson; Susan's parents, Phil (James Karen) and Marnie (Holland Taylor), are strict and conservative enough to raise their freedom-loving granddaughter. In the meantime, Susan meets a young busboy, Michael Blake (Scott Bairstow), who falls in love with her and becomes fast friends with her daughter. Hearing about Susan's terminal illness, Michael, however, keeps his distance from her. The reason is that after the tragical loss of his sister he is afraid of losing another person who is near and dear to him. It's up to Carson to convince Michael that they should keep together. |

The man hires Corso to track down the other two copies and compare them to his, but complications - both natural and supernatural - arise at every turn. |

Fact-based story about Ira Einhorn (Kevin Anderson), a 70's peace-nik who is generally credited as one of the founders of Earth Day. In the late 60's and early 70's, Ira lived with Holly Maddux (Naomi Watts). But when she tries to leave him in 1977, she suddenly disappears. Later her body is discovered in a trunk in Einhorn's apartment. Let out on bail, Einhorn flees from the country and manages to elude authorities for years. Meanwhile he is convicted in absentia and sentenced to prison. Holly's father (Tom Skerritt) is determined to see his daughter's murderer brought to justice and has him tracked and is eventually caught in France in 1997. Martin Donovan appears as the assistant D.A. who put the case together. Today, Einhorn is now appealing his conviction. |

In this update of Disney's masterpiece film mixture of animation and music, new interpretations of great works of music are presented. It begins with an abstract battle of light and darkness set to the music of Beethoveen's Fifth Symphony. Then we see the adventures of a Humpback Whale calf and his pod set to "The Pines of Rome." Next is the humourous story of several lives in 1930's New York City, scored with "Rhapsody in Blue." Following is a musical telling of the fairy tale, "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" set to Dmitri Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2. Then a goofy Flamingo causes havoc in his flock with his yo-yo to the tune of the finale of "Carnival of the Animals." This is followed by the classic sequence from the original film, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" starring Mickey Mouse and followed by "Pomp and Circumstance" starring Donald Duck as a harried assistant to Noah on his Ark. Finally, we see the awesome tale of the life, death and renewal of a forest in a sequence featuring the composition, "The Firebird." |

This brilliant satirical comedy follows Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston), an ordinary IT worker who is fed up with his mediocre life and his boring job at a software company plagued by excessive management. Stressed and burnt-out, Peter is forced by his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend Anne (Alexandra Wentworth) to visit an occupational hypnotherapist. Dr. Swanson (Mike McShane) puts Peter into a state of complete relaxation and unexpectedly kicks the bucket before he can snap him out of his hypnotic state. The half-hypnotized Peter begins to enjoy life for the first time in a very long time, blowing off his job and dating a sexy waitress named Joanna (Jennifer Aniston). But, curiously enough, instead of firing him, the company gives him a promotion. When he discovers that his best friends Michael Bolton (David Herman) and Samir Nagheenanajar (Ajay Naidu) are laid off instead, Peter induces them to exact revenge on the callous employer by planting a computer virus that will send fractions of pennies from the company's transactions into their own bank account. |

It's a day of disasters: his mom kicks him out of the house, his uncle fires him, the woman he loves dismisses him as childish, the LAPD (wearing Confederate-flag shoulder patches) impounds his car and tosses him in the drunk tank, a mean dude is after him for money, he's imprisoned in a store basement by gay sadists, and he's shot at. Along the way, however, he shows kindness to a near-sighted kid, and those random acts may prove to be his salvation. |

'Go' is set mostly during one long Christmas Eve in the lives of a group of young adults on the events surrounding a drug deal in Los Angeles replayed three different times from three different views. In a straightforward manner; when slacker Simon Baines (Desmond Asknew) takes off for a getaway to Las Vegas with his friends, Ronna (Sarah Polley) takes his shift at the 24-hour grocery store where they work. When two guys, named Adam and Zack (Scott Wolf and Jay Mohr), walk in asking to score some dope from Simon, Ronna takes it upon herself and her friends Claire (Katie Holmes) and Mannie (Nathan Bexton) to buy some some stuff from the local drug dealer Todd Gains (Timothy Olyphant). But the drug deal is a sting that Adam and Zack are forced to set up by an overzealous narcotics agent, Burke (William Fichtner). Ronna is forced to dispose of the drugs. With no other alternative, she tries to double-cross Todd with phony drugs. Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Simon's adventures with his best friend Marcus (Taye Diggs) hit an unfortunate turn during a trip to a strip club, while Adam and Zack end up spending Christmas Eve with Burke and his wife Irene (Jane Krakowski), and afterwards while driving to a rave that Ronna is dealing, the guys accidentally hit Ronna with their car and leave her for dead. Nearby, Mannie nearly OD's on dope, and Claire gets more friendly with a vengeful Todd whom is now looking for Ronna. |

Cynthia, TV producer, has an idea about how to save the station: A normal person's life should be broadcasted 24 hours a day. "Ed TV" is born the second her eye falls on Ed Pekurny, a sympathetic Joe Sixpack. After the first week on air Eds fame grows and grows, but conflicts break open: His brother Ray publishes a very negative book about Ed, who now dates Ray's ex; Ed's parent's partnership problematics are broadcasted nationwide and a very attractive and seducing model uses innocent Ed to raise her own fame. Also, Ed's contract proves to be unquittable, so that Ed Pekurny suddenly can see the golden bars around his cage. But in a country that switches the TV set on for breakfast and off for bedtime, nearly everything can happen - and people can be counted on. |

When beautiful and kind-hearted Amanda Shelton (Sarah Michelle Gellar) inherited a small restaurant from her late mother, she has a hard time as she lacked her mother's ability to cook. She would have had to close down the restaurant if she hadn't met a mysterious cabman, Gene O'Reilly (Christopher Durang), who unexpectedly gave her magical help with her cooking. While buying food for her restaurant, Amanda had a chance encounter with Tom Bartlett (Sean Patrick Flanery), a handsome and successful businessman whose relationship with his new girlfriend was in a crisis as she became too demanding. Tom and his girlfriend visited Amanda's restaurant in that very evening. The crab cooked by Amanda was finger-licking good and Tom immediately fell under her spells. His girlfriend, who ordered roast chicken, picked a quarrel with him and broke a lot of dishes. Delighted with the delicious meal, Tom gave Amanda his business card and promised to pay for the broken dishes. Afterwards they began a bubbly romance... |
