This is the story of three gentle persons: Paul Rivers (Penn) an ailing mathematician lovelessly married to an English emigré (Gainsbourg), Christina Peck, an upper-middle-class suburban housewife, happily married and mother of two little girls, and Jack Jordan (Del Toro), an ex-convict who has found in his Christian faith the strength to raise a family. They will be brought together by a terrible accident that will change their lives. By the final frame, none of them will be the same as they will learn harsh truths about love, faith, courage, desire and guilt, and how chance can change our worlds irretrievably, forever.

The action takes place in the USA in the 1930s. Grace (Nicole Kidman), a beatiful woman on the run from gangsters, arrives in the small Rocky Mountain town of Dogville. Town philosopher Tom Edison (Paul Bettany) takes her in and convinces the townsfolk to hide her. In exchange for shelter, Grace has to work for the townspeople all hours: she teaches math to the local kids, takes care of the blind old man, helps the apple farmer (Stellan Skarsgård) and the shopkeeper (Lauren Bacall). Eventually, the townspeople, egoistic and ruthless, begin demanding more and more from poor Grace. Tired of working double shifts, Grace decides to leave the town, but the escape fails, and she has to pass through a black ordeal. As a slave she is forced to toil from dawn to dusk, and raped by every man in Dogville night after night. Finally, Tom calls up Grace’s father (James Caan) to rescue his daughter from her inexorable torturers.
The action takes place in the underworld inhabited by two rival clans – Vampires and Lycans (Werewolves) - who have been sworn enemies for centuries. It’s ironical that a beautiful young Vampire warrior, Selene (Kate Beckinsale), falls in love with her clan’s enemy, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman). In fact he is not a Werewolf; he is a human who has been captured by the Lycans because he has unique blood picture which can save their clan from extinction.
Set in England during the Victorian age, the tale brings together well-known figures from classic literature. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is a team of superheroes led by intrepid adventurer Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery) and comprised of invisible man Rodney Skinner (Tony Curran), Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah), Dracula vampiress Mina Harker (Peta Wilson), Dorian Gray (Stuart Townsend), American secret service agent Tom Sawyer (Shane West), and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (Jason Flemyng). The League members have an urgent assignment to scotch the mysterious Phantom who is intent on turning the nations of the world against one another so as to rule the world. Using Captain Nemo’s submarine, the Nautilus, the superheroes go to Venice, Italy where the villain is up to sabotage a conference of world leaders by blowing up the city to sink. Needless to say, this will have catastrophic consequences for all life on Earth. The Extraordinary Gentlemen have only 96 hours to prevent him from reaching his menacing aim.
In the second chapter of the trilogy, the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar consisting of Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) go to Zion, the last human city on the planet Earth. On their arrival the heroes discover that the Machine Army is digging towards the city in order to destroy it and wipe out its population. While the inhabitants of Zion take measures for the defence, Neo, Morpheus and Trinity leave to make an attempt to destroy the Matrix from the inside. But they must first find the Keymaker who keeps the keys to all the "back doors" of the Matrix. To reach the Source is no easy matter as Neo and his crew confront new upgraded Agents, a mob of Agent Smith clones and other evil programs.
As Neo (Keanu Reeves) somehow becomes trapped in a train station between The Matrix and the real world, Morpheus, Trinity, and Seraph set out to rescue him by means of the Merovingian. As this is going on, the Machines are approaching Zion with the intent of laying waste to every human there, but they do not realize that something is taking over The Matrix, with the intent of destroying everything: Smith. After Neo is freed, he and Trinity take the Logos and make a beeline for the Machine City. The Machines have reached Zion and the battle of a lifetime rages on. However, there is one way to save Zion and put an end to the war, and that is Neo. He must venture into the Matrix and put an end to Smith's evil plans once and for all, and if he succeeds, Zion will live to see another day. It's like the Oracle says, "Everything that has a beginning has an end."

Owing to the disappearance of the medallion, the skeletal pirates have to attack the city of Port Royal and kidnap Elisabeth to get it back. The roguish yet courageous Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), along with Will Turner, assembles a crew to rescue Ms. Swann and take vengeance on the detestable pirates. They hijack a ship from the British Navy and set out on an extremely adventurous quest that makes the blood curdle and shivers run up and down the spine.
The action takes place in Japan in the 1870s.
